Good little 45 chamfer bit. Needed a 1/2 to go in my Bosch 2-1/3HP and this did the trick. No complaints, it works as youd expect.

I used this to bevel 50 six foot long, 3/4” thick redwood pickets. I was pleasantly surprised to find the bit still going strong even after cutting through plenty of knotholes.

Arrived loose in its case. The case is yellowed thin plastic. Hot wheels cars come un better packaging. This looks like its straight out of the 90s. Disappointed because I keep my bits in their cases when not in use. I will not be able to do that with this one. For the price I would expect it to arrive like every other Freud bit I have purchased in a nice hard plastic case that keeps it secure and make it easy to store.

Good sharp quality router bit. I use nothing but Freud router bits in my woodshop. I consider them to be the best value for the money. Ive never had any issues with the ball bearings on any Freud bit. I always get a nice quality cut with no burn marks. I would definitely recommend these router bits to a friend.

Like all of my other Freud bits and blades, this router bit performs very well. Cuts very smoothly with excellent results. The one problem with this bit, as at least one other reviewer noted, is that the bearing is too narrow. I just used it for the first time on some pine, and it left a noticeable groove down the entire length of the wood. I wasnt pushing hard against the wood, just trying to hold the router securely along the edge. If you use this bit on any wood that is remotely soft, you will have to be very careful if you want to avoid having the bearing mark the wood. If the work piece is important / valuable where the groove would be a problem, I would recommend testing on a scrap first. Photos attached.
