Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

The calendar contains dozens of Marvel superheroes, including Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Spider-Gwen, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Black Panther, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Star-Lord - all dressed to impress in their holiday costumes. Very cute and fun to open for those young and old but the only downfall is that there are a number of duplicates behind the doors. I feel the experience would have been a bit better had each door of the advent calendar contained a different character without duplicates. Other than that, it was a lot of fun opening the different doors to see which character would appear next!

These are nice, but there are 12 repeat characters: 6 of them are repeat poses; 3 of the repeat poses are identical, the other 3 are the same pose but with glitter on the character. Pretty disappointing theres so many repeated characters with how many characters are avaliable in the franchise.

My daughter was in love with this calendar when she saw it. The first days were great she sort of knew some of the ones shed be getting theyre on the box. She was excited each day. Then the entire 3rd week all duplicates of ones a he has. A little glitter does not make it different. Captain American snowman with and without glitter are the same. Love glow in the dark owns but why have them in addition to plain ones. We love the gingerbread also however adding glitter again does not make the different from the same thing. There was such a missed opportunity to make so many people happy. With all the characters in the MCU and even Avengers there was no need for to many duplicates. You can see in other posts the pictures. Would have loved Loki, Gamora or Dr Strange instead of 3 Captain Americas, and so on. My daughter isnt excited to finish the calendar now because she already has so many duplicate ones and knows theres more.

I purchased these to turn them into Christmas tree ornaments. There were only 18 that made it to my tree. 3 of them had glitter. I don’t do glitter. The other 3 were duplicates of others. That sucks. There should be no duplicates. However, the price is so worth it compared to buying 24 at full price. Beware of a seller on Etsy. She is gutting these advent calendars and adding keychain hardware on them then she calls them “CUSTOMIZED.” I screwed an eyelet into the head and added an ornament hanger. She did the same thing. Screw in an eyelet, add a chain, and add a split ring. Boo.

Box is pretty standard for calendar. Opening each day isnt super difficult. Overall, I like the quality of the pops so far. All, but one (so far...as of 08DEC22) stand up on its own. So far it has been a mixture of gingerbread versions of Marvel characters and Christmas themed versions of Marvel characters. I think its a great advent calendar for someone that likes Funko Pops and Marvel. Update: I got several duplicates (see photo) which is disappointing. The advertisement says 24 unique pops. There are a ton of Marvel characters…not sure why there are so many duplicates. Knocked of a star because of it.

Every year i check the release date and preorder ASAP. My kids get so excited. I’m the past I have purchased funko 3 Harry Potter, an adorables Disney, and a previous funko Marvel. This years was a complete disappointment as they were numerous repeats and some that were the same but added glitter. My Daughter was no longer excited to open them after day 10. Hopefully future packs are better.

I was so excited to have some Christmas marvel decor. I really liked this advent calendar but there were quite a few repeats/duplicates. My whole family got into opening them each day and the duplicates were just disappointing. Still a great deal though!!!

Husband hates the holiday season due to bad memories. I try to make them as fun as possible for him. This past year I decided to add a bit of whimsy with an advent calendar. It was something for him to look forward to each day. I believe he did get one duplicate character, but thats okay, bound to happen. Will be looking into another one for him for the next christmas

I purchased this for my daughter for christmas, but my husband and I love Marvel too so we were all looking forward to seeing what she would get each day. Im so disappointed in the number of duplicates! As we still have a few days to go the final count is still TBD, but so far we have 4 exact duplicates, and 3 glitter version duplicates so thats only 14 unique figures out of 21, or 1/3 duplicates. NOT COOL for the cost, especially when (as others have noted) the box states 24 UNIQUE POPS!!!! The only silver lining is that my daughter is letting me keep the duplicates. However my biggest disappointment is there is NO DR STRANGE!!!!! He is my favorite character, I am super bummed.

To avoid disappointment… yes you WILL get duplicates. BUT the dupes DO have slight differences. For example there are 2 gingerbread characters that glow in the dark. Disappointing? A little bit… but it was still fun to open with my 4 year old and find the little christmas details on them. Would more variety have been nice for the price they want you to pay? Yes, but it was a nice effort. We got ours on sale which was probably a good thing. Maybe next year they will add more characters.
