Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

I was so excited to get this for my son this year so I decided to splurge and spend more money then I usually do on his calendar. Im super disappointed in the fact that there is so many duplicates. We have gotten 4 captain America already and its only the 17th. Yes one of them is glittery but still to have 4 of the same character is a waste. We also received 2 of the captain America snowman (which are super funny and cute but why 2) and 2 hulk. I just wish there was more variety in what we have gotten and I really hope we dont get any more captain America bc the look of disappointment on my 6yr old face seeing the same one stinks

To avoid disappointment… yes you WILL get duplicates. BUT the dupes DO have slight differences. For example there are 2 gingerbread characters that glow in the dark. Disappointing? A little bit… but it was still fun to open with my 4 year old and find the little christmas details on them. Would more variety have been nice for the price they want you to pay? Yes, but it was a nice effort. We got ours on sale which was probably a good thing. Maybe next year they will add more characters.

There are a lot of cute figures, but so far we’ve had multiples of the same ones popping up and one that was very similar, except it had glitter on it. Generally well done, with interesting holiday pun-based costumes for the character and the Christmas theme.

I usually love getting these advent calendars from Funko but I’m not sure if it was mistakes or if the duplicates were deliberate. Because the others of the gingerbread characters were the diamond variety and there is at least one other Groot Christmas version that could have been used. Overall loved it but not completely happy with it. Edit: I reached out to Funko and was told the Ironman and Thor were the glow ones. Still not entirely happy but I always enjoy these.

This advent calendar is an awesome idea for a Marvel fan! However, once you start opening doors, you soon discover MANY gingerbread style figures and some almost duplicates with one minor change. For example, today we opened a glittery Captain America snowman who matches the other Captain America snowman exactly with the exception of the glitter. Disappointing to say the least. As you can see in the picture, the same was true of Groot and potted Groot. Come on, Marvel, you can do better than that! Or if this is how you want to play it, at least make it a little less costly... As the buyer, if you can get past the duplicates, it really is a cool gift.

Product was great but delayed in getting here. Was supposed to come before christmas came well after. Wish I could give less stars for shipping

We bought the Funko Pop Marvel advent calendar for our son who watches the shows over and over. So..we made this list of all the characters we thought would show up in the box each day. We did not even include the second-tier villains or heroes. And so many of them were repeats and several where exactly the same hero with no variation. He was bummed. Who needs 3 Groots? Or 3 Capt America? When they could have made Star-Lord, Gamora, War Machine, Loki...you get the point.

I bought this set expecting 24 unique figures. I ended up with 20 unique figures and 4 that were doubles. 2 of the same holiday groots, 2 of the same gingerbread ironman, etc., etc. With so many different marvel figures out there, I am shocked that the company cant find 24 unique figures for this set. I mean you all had the ugly christmas sweater line, the snowman line, the gingerbread line, the different figures holding candy canes, wreaths, etc. I am glad that I had bought this set for myself. I would hate to be opening this with a child for them to only get a repeat figure on several of the days. I am a huge funko fan having around 600 different boxed figures and sets. This is the first one that I have ever left a complaint about. Most of the time I a very satisfied with the company, and I was satisfied with the Office Advent and the Star Wars advent calendars. Those sets had a few doubles. However, this set had a ton of repaints, and then doubles on top of that. To me, this set is just not worth it.

They’re cute it’s my first funko advent calendar but i was disappointed when i got three sets of repeats they could have done other characters besides gingerbread form. Just beware not too sure if it’s just my box or if anyone else might have repeats as well.These are the repeats i got might just give them away.

It was fun opening a new marvel hero every day until I started getting duplicates. But overall the non gingerbread FUNCOs were really cool.
