Funko Pop! Advent Calendar: Marvel - Holiday, Multicolor, One Size

I like the rocket, hulk, groots, captain America spider man, thor, Ironman and scarlet witch. But I didn’t like the multiple of the same pops. I would have liked to see a black widow, Hawkeye, a real captain America pop, a captain marvel that wasn’t just ginger bread multiples. I was alittle disappointed. I loved the rocket, both groots, hulk, the spider man’s are really cool. The thor and the snowman captain America are pretty cool. The package was very sturdy. The pops kept falling down into the bottom one and the doors kept falling off.I ended up putting them in a clear plastic container until I find a safe place for them.

There were so many duplicates and gingerbread themed figures. I personally found this very annoying considering how there were plenty other christmas themed marvel funkos out there that they already have that they couldve added to this box. They are technically not duplicates because the look alikes will either have a diamond edition or glow in the dark but I would have much rather just gotten a different figure entirely. I was pretty disappointed that more than half were gingerbreads, and thats not including the snowman. There were 13 gingerbreads, two snowmen. I am not a fan of gingerbread/snowman figures in general and the fact that those were the ones that had been duplicated the most made it worse. There was only really 7 figures I was happy to get, not including the scarlet witch and one of the groots since those were duplicated. Not only that but a lot of them couldnt stand up either and have no stands to help them out. I got this for around $35, I wouldve been very disappointed with this if I had to pay the full $60. If youre looking for a more fun variety, the Disney advent calendar has no duplicates and even has some non-Christmas themed figures so you can enjoy them year round.

These are really nice and cute, and we are still opening them, but weve already run into the problem of duplicates. For now my son is having fun with it and says Hulk is confused. There are plenty of heros in the Marvel universe for that to not be needed.

There is no shortage of Marvel Characters to chose from yet there are a handful of duplicates. Not same character different look (there are those as well) but exactly the same except one has phosphorescent paint.

*EDIT!* Some of the recent reviews with pictures have shown me that I got the SAME 3 SETS of duplicates as others. There was one that mentioned not minding the duplicates and in a mystery sort of purchase I would agree, but for the price AND with the description specifying 24 UNIQUE figures, Im super disappointed and not looking to purchase any more mystery sets for my mom or niece. The glitter ones that come with a stand to have them flying dont even fit with the glitter blocking the connection point so they cant even stand up! Got this to countdown to Winter Break with my students and today’s was a sparkly version of one from the first week. I decided to look ahead (opening the side-the red bags are see through) and even worse than minor variations (like gingerbread Cpt. Marvel in different outfits) there are straight up duplicates!! I can understand in mystery boxes and stuff getting 2 of the same across a couple boxes but in ONE countdown box for over $40????…there’s at least 2 pairs that are the same!!! And I can’t just spin it as a slight variation because of the multiverse! I’m disappointed as a Funko and Marvel fan, I’m just hoping the kids will forget the versions that come up again later. So much for keeping an ongoing community collection! Not worth it.

This was super cute, but for the price it’s extremely disappointing how many repeats there are. Three baby groots and two are almost exactly the same. Two captain americas, iron man, captain marvel, scarlet witch and Thor. The only difference is that some have glitter, some just have a Matt or sheen paint job, Thor just had a different color hammer head. With how many marvel characters there are I felt like that was lazily done.

They are cute characters and good, sturdy play quality. My only complaint is that they aren’t all unique. We have 3 Groots so far and 3 Captain Americas and only in day 13. Kinda weird abs disappointing.

Me and bf are huge Marvel fans. So we got this so make a little fun thing we get to open each one each day. But the item even says in the description “24 unique figures” which they are NOT. Disappointed that there were so many duplicates!!! And there are soooo many marvel characters. There should be no reason for this duplicate situation. They need to fix this before I buy another. Disappointed with Funko on this one. They really took the cheap way out on this.

My daughter and I both are huge Marvel fans. So naturally, when I saw this advent calendar, I just knew it was the one for her. I had it sitting out to surprise when she came home from school on Dec 1. She was ecstatic. She was more excited by this than her first iPhone. She was so anxious to open them each day to see what surprise was behind that day’s door. But her enthusiasm is waning. I have no idea why Funko would do this, but as of 12/14, there have been quite a few duplicates. They aren’t exact duplicates but for the most part they’re the same. Like a Capt America snowman on day 2 or 3. Now she has another one that looks exactly the same just with some glitter glaze applied over the top. Today was the 4th different one she’s opened that was a glittery duplicate. It doesn’t make sense with as many Marvel characters as there are. And out of 14 days so far, only one female character. This is a great idea by Funko, but not the greatest execution. Doubt if I’d buy another one unless they guaranteed no duplicates.

These are nice, but there are 12 repeat characters: 6 of them are repeat poses; 3 of the repeat poses are identical, the other 3 are the same pose but with glitter on the character. Pretty disappointing theres so many repeated characters with how many characters are avaliable in the franchise.
