Expensive but nice

Love the watch. Im getting about 11 days of battery life. It has a ton of features that takes a while to learn. I have a Samsung S3 watch and that screen is much brighter than the Fenix 7.

It is a little bit heavier than my last Garmin but I am getting used to it now.

Only had it for a few weeks but loving it so far. The newer wrist hrm tech is much more accurate. Beautifully made, light and stylish.

Its the best Fenix series watch and I am a former Fenix 5X Plus owner. I like and bought the Fenix series mostly because we can customize watch faces and Data-Filed from Garmin, and large music storage space (500+ mp3s) to listen while running without carrying a mobile. And Fenix 7 is with a touch screen now which is also one big improvement. There are also lots of choices to customize Fenix 7 watch band, screen protector, bezel in the market too :-) As to the battery life, I am a morning runner who normally only wears a watch and listens to music with AirPod, also with a Garmin running POD connected to the Fenix watch, weekly running distance ~50 miles. Normally for such a scenario, with an hour running (6-7 miles) it will cost ~10% of battery power.

Had a 5S and wanted to upgrade for a few reasons. The 5 had given me issues with heart rate cadence lock which would cause my load calculations to be inaccurate. The 5 also didnt support my concept 2 rower natively. I could use the ergiq app but using that it didnt count toward training status. With the 7 Im getting much better heart rate data and I can now use the Garmin indoor row activity and add my rower as a sensor which lets my rowing activities calculate into my training status. Also enjoying the sleep tracking, health snapshot which gives HRV, and the body battery features. Very happy with the upgrade so far.

Love the watch ,huge fan of garmin technology buy it seem like a trend when I buy stuff on Amazon, 30% of the time the product is malfunctioning. This watch in particular after about a week,the functions of the left top button has completely disappeared,cant activate the flash light at all and cant turn on the background light to checkout the time while in the dark. Now Ive just ordered the 7x saphire, hopefully Ill have better luck.

What I like: 1) Size is very substantial, which I like 2) They’ve extended the battery life by like triple what it was, and that’s a huge win! 3). Love the touch screen 4) Very accurate with calculations Very improved from my first Fenix, the 5!!! Love it, and hope it lasts longer than my first one too. That will be the true test.

Best features from Garmin, 20 days to a charge, solar, and even includes an incredibly useful flashlight by double tapping the light button.
