Gillette Venus Extra Smooth Sensitive Womens Razor Blade Refills, 4 Count, Designed for Women with Sensitive Skin

My wife forgot how good a real razor is compared to a disposable. The heavy handle feels great, and the blade just rolls over her arms and legs. The downside is that disposables come with a plastic cover and this doesnt, which means she has to take it out of the shower each time so it doesnt rust.

Im a bit at a loss as to what makes these razors particularly good for sensitive skin. They work well as razors, but for people with very sensitive skin, these razors may still cause problems. My skin is moderately sensitive and these razors work as well as other, similar products. They do a great job of shaving. It only takes one pass usually and they make shaving fast and easy. If these razors werent marketing as being for sensitive skin, I would have given them 5 stars. I think these razors are worth the price. They last a long time and are much easier to use than cheaper razors. Overall, I recommend them to people who have moderately sensitive skin, but use with caution if your skin is very sensitive.

Received this item unboxed, and only 3 blades. Very poor packing and lack of attention to the actual product.

These Gillette Venus Extra Smooth refills have additional lubricating strips, which helps for a close and smooth shave every time. And I like that these refills are fully compatible with the regular Venus razors handles that I already own. Which allows me to try new refills to see if I like them more than the Venus regular refills I was using before. I noticed the extra gliding, which is nice, and it doesnt require shaving cream. I learned this after applying shaving cream, and realizing that it was too slippery, so I rinse the shaving cream, and just shave with this razor over my wet skin. I guess that its better to do the shaving right after taking a shower, and having rinse the soap off. The result is less cuts, nearly none, and neat skin all over.

I think this blades may be dull. Even starting from fresh from the box it felt like it pulled my hair from my armpits and bikini area, I now have very angry and red skin. I am unsure if it is just the shipped ones? I havent had this issue with Venus before.

These razor head refill things have been the best purchase I’ve made in 2022 on amazon and trust me I have bought a lot of stuff! These are so worth it, I have saved so much money with these and I get 0 razor bumps and such a close clean shave! 11/10

I hate cutting myself when I shave my legs so I really love these sensitive razors by Venus. These are refills so you have to already have a razor to put them on, but I think it saves a little money by doing it this way. Plus I hate throwing away a whole razor. This is much better for the environment. These razors were very smooth to use and even with a brand new blade I had no cuts or nicks. Ive been using Gillette Venus razors for years now and think that they give a close shave on legs and underarms. I just tried the Extra Smooth Sensitive and they also performed very well. I have over age 60, fair skin and dont get razor burn, so maybe Im not the best judge for that problem, but my legs and underarms were smooth and silky afterward, so no complaints from me. Ive used one razor refill three times now and theres no sign of needing to replace the cartridge.

This is the only brand they use for their sensitive skin. They tell me that they like them for smooth non-irritating shave. I have been purchasing for them as a regular Subscribe and Save item ...
