> 24 hourPerfect for my Christmas decorations around the house. I don’t need to get up to see if I remember to turn all the christmas lights/decorations off. I can control them now on my phone. BUT, I had a hard time installing or pairing it to my phone. Here’s my situation and how I solved it and made it work after an hour. First, make sure your wifi 2.4GHz is on. I have verizon fios and though I have a dual wifi connection, I’ve only been using the 5Ghz. I couldn’t find my 2.4ghz on my wifi list. So I did some research and had to turn off or disable the SON under wifi settings on fios app. Unplug my router and plug it back in after a minute or two then bam! it shows up. So when I got my phone connected to 2.4, I went ahead and start the pairing. This thing didn’t come with instruction so I went back to this page and read the manual. You will need to download the app “smart life” or simply scan the QR barcode in the back of the device. Then you will need to set the device up on pairing mode by press and hold either of the white button and the light blinks and it should be now visible on your phone. Then connect. Now, if you want to connect your phone back to 5Ghz(because I think it’s much faster than 2.4) all you gotta do is connect your device to alexa. Then you caan forget about the smart life app really because you can navigate or control your device thru alexa. As long as your device is connected to the 2.4ghz network your fine and that’s all that matters. I hope this helps! I highly recommend this and I might get one more set. F

> 24 hourThey work good, but I had to have my son (more tech/wifi savvy) set then up on my phone. Wish it was easier.

> 24 hourThese might be the least complicated smart switches I have ever set up, and they work great. I bought them to control my indoor Christmas lighting, and they work amazing.

> 24 hourWorking well so far, its only been a month. It was a little tricky getting it to recognize my wifi but that is more a user learning curve than a product issue.

> 24 hourThis item was pretty easy to figure out, and easy to install. I wish the app had a way to put the plug in the room or area of your home it is installed in to make it easier to control with Alexa, but thats not extremely important. I can control it, I just have to take a few extra steps. Double sided plug makes it easier to control two devices with one plug. Not great if you only have one thing to control in an area. For example, if you want to use a fan in your bedroom and have nothing else to plug in the socket to control with Alexa, I dont suggest using this socket. Maybe use a lamp or something in the other side. Its wasted with nothing in it.

> 24 hourThis smart plug works well, but setup was difficult requiring a number of non-intuitive steps to finally link to Alexa.

> 24 hourI use this to control the light on my fish tanks they are on a schedule all of which is programmed on your cell phone or tablet device viva a application…. This product only works for lamp with a on and off switch or if you plug them in and they turn on if they physically require your assistance this product isn’t for you.
