Awesome laptop!!!!!

I got it for my girlfriend last year for her to use for college and it’s been nothing but great. It is definitely a good computer for someone’s first ever computer.

The first thing I didnt like was it did not have a manual or any kind of instructions on how get it started to use it. After I finally got it started it had a voice that tried to tell me how to use it, but being an older person I didnt understand what she was saying most of the time. The worst thing about the computer was that when I sat in my recliner (where I always work on my computer) the silver keyboard with the pale letters on the keys was impossible to read. I plan to get a computer with black keys with white letters on them.

Great item for the price! Easy to use, looks sharp in white, and has a good battery life.

I am never again buying a computer from Amazon. The product description is false: there is no backlit keyboard and there is no touchscreen. I didnt want to pay the re-stocking fee and Ive learned a tough lesson: go to a brick and mortar store to buy technology. Ive been ripped off for the last time.

This is a GREAT Chromebook! I have no idea whats wrong with the people who had Wi-Fi connectivity issues, I was up and running out of the box in less than 5 minutes. Maybe they forgot their password? Anyway, this Chromebook is a great deal. Beautiful, clear screen, decent sound, and fairly solid build. Yes it is plastic, but it still feels solid and well-made. But really, this is all about price -- and if youre looking for a Chromebook on the cheap this Christmas, youre not going to find a better one. Completely satisfied.

Purchased the Forest Teal and it does NOT have a backlight. The elderly aunt I purchased it for decided it wasnt worth sending back given the time that would take, but the description completely misrepresented this feature. As others are comment about how much they love the backlight, my best guess is that one model is listed in the description but the different color options are actually different models with different features.
