Greater than one weekThus far this Floodlight Camera has far exceeded my expectations. The light brightens up the night, the camera pictures are clear, and the siren will definitely be a deterrent. The app was easy to download, the camera set-up was flawless, and the price was right. Thank you ieGeek!

> 3 dayI am in process of building out home security camera system. As I already have my home fitted with CloudEdge wireless doorbell & wireless indoor camera, I looked for a compatible one to monitor outside. At first I started with Ring systems, but very soon learned that monthly subscription would cost hundreds of $$$ per year. Then I moved on to Wyze, however, it also started charging monthly subscription, otherwise cool down, forced 5 minute break between recordings would kick in, unless paid. Finally, I settled with CloudEdge cameras. They are unfortunately not compatible with Alexa, but at least I dont have to pay, and picture quality & specs are on par with other systems. Motion detection is quite fast and accurate. The installation was relatively easy, while mounting to the wall required some drilling and gluing. This one seems to be a new release with LED flood light, and its blindingly bright! Looks and works like a prestigious brand, not cheap at all. Improvements needed 1. Wish images can be rotated. 2. Continuous recording not possible, but only records when motion is detected. 3. It is not Alexa compatible. 4. There are few seconds delay starting live feeds.

> 3 dayI have owned multiple iegeek cameras over the years. Only until recently have the older (3-4yr) started to fail. However I have seen the improvements they have made over the years and the current cameras are much better than the originals. I am overall satisfied with the products. This camera with light works excellent as a camera and the light is bright and illuminates well. My only complaint is I wish the software would allow for the light to continue to illuminate at night for longer than the camera recording. I find that when taking out my trash or running to my car at night, the light is turning on and off multiple times as I have a shorter recording time. If this product updated to allow the light to stay on while not recording, I would rate 5 stars all around.

Greater than one weekFirst pic is day time. Second is color night vision by use of the floodlight mode. Third is of IR night vision which I would say is it’s weakest point. The SD pic at night is adequate but not as good as color. I would like to see this available with onvif capabilities to pair it with a local NVR. Just like most all of Iegeek products, set up is super simple and stable. Either use a micro sd card or the cloud service to record. Cost of the cloud storage is fairly reasonable.

> 3 dayThe nice thing about this camera is having the solar to charge the battery, is a significant benefit especially if you have them in a high position. The Solar keeps the batteries fully charged on all sides of the house. The picture quality both day and night is great. The instructions for connectivity to network was straight forward. The solar panel for the power source works pretty well with this camera. For everyday day use as a security camera, it should fit most peoples needs Im guessing. Night vision is great. Can see down the street. This Camera is advertised correctly, the images are true. Highly Recommended. Packaging & Delivery:] The packaging is as expected and arrived without incident. Delivery was fast and as promised. [Summery:] All in all I am very happy. I am comfortable with the 5 stars. I have no problem recommending this solar camera or the seller.

> 3 dayZS-GX5S review This is an honest review for the ieGeek 2K Floodlight Security Camera (ZS-GX5S). It was set up/connected using a wifi router as well as a hot spot from a phone. Connection was only established by the second attempt on both occasions. A slight lag/delay of the live video was noticed, which is expected of these type of cameras. A slight delay occurs with the audio on the video recorded. The AI human detection did detect and alert to motion when non human objects were moved in front of the camera (some false positives). I have noticed that when changing some settings (eg linked lighting, linked buzzer), the app needs to be closed off and reopened for the change to be properly registered. So if you made a change and the feature is not working, simply close and reopen the app. The flood lights are very bright and offers a wider lighting coverage due to its design. The camera is slightly heavy, which is I believe due to the larger batteries used for longer battery life than the other brands. The 130° wide angle field of view allows for wider viewing. The two way audio works well enough to understand what is being communicated either way. Siren is loud enough to raise an alarm. Pros: Very bright flood light, very long battery life, Wide angle viewing, 2k resolution, AI Human Detection. Cons: Heavy (due to longer battery life), very wide and obvious front camera (due to the flood lights). The ieGeek 2K Floodlight Security Camera is an overall very good camera.

> 3 dayThis camera arrived very well packaged, like all other ieGeek cameras that I have, so no shipping damage whatsoever. It was very easy to install using the CloudEdge app (which, by the way, has been recently improved considerably compared to earlier versions). The physical installation had one issue: the ball and socket joint of the solar panel mount could not be tightened, even when I tried to improvise by wrapping the ball with a piece of paper. The panel seems to be identical to panels that came with other ieGeek that I have, and which did not have this problem, so I am assuming that this is just a problem with this particular panel and others will not necessarily encounter it. The image quality was disappointing at first, but then I discovered that to get the QHD resolution I had to press the SD button on the live screen and select QHD from the popup menu, which improved the image quality considerably. The QHD images are quite good for security purposes, though dont expect it to be quite as good as an image that you take with your phone camera, for example. I like it that the user can control whether or not the floodlight is turned on when motion is detected, and also can turn it on whenever is needed for live view. Likewise, the siren can be disabled, enabled for motion detection events, or turned on whenever its needed. Both of these features can be useful under some circumstances. The solar panel works very well - the battery charge level shown full charge at all times, even though my solar panel does not get direct sunlight most of the time. That said, I dont have many motion detection events in a day, so I am not sure if the panel will suffice in a situation where the event frequency is much higher. One shortcoming of this camera is the lack of PTZ functionality, which limits its usefulness to situations where PTZ is not needed.

> 3 dayIt took me around half an hour to set up. This has worked out beautifully. Several reasons I love it. 1. I dont need to pay the monthly fee as some other brands do when they record the videos or photos and I want to download or watch the videos or photos (three years ago I bought a very famous brand peephole camera which needs $3 per month). 2. This one can automatically record videos/photos when it detects the motion (shown in the photos) and the lights will turn on. 3. Powered by solar panel coming with the camera, it is free from hard-wired power. 4. Very good water-proof design (I have no chance to check yet). I would love it more if it can come with the micro SD card or be designed without an external SD card will be better for being water-proof.

> 3 dayDont waste your money on other cameras that offer paid cloud services with yearly subscription, especially that SD card prices are dirt cheap nowadays, i owe 4 rings and this is a comparable Camera in terms of quality.

Greater than one weekI put mine outside in the back of my house in Oregon. I was worried it wouldn’t charge well because of our rainy cloudy winters but it has worked beautifully. It charges great, the picture quality is fantastic, the light illuminates the whole back yard, and I like the alerts it sends to my phone. You can set a siren or talk through it.
