We were looking for an affordable camera for our new place. It gets really dark at night and knowing the light comes on and records gave us a lot of peace of mind. Weve had it for about a month now and love it. It works great and you can view the movement snippets at a later date. Would definitely recommend for some added safety. One thing to keep in mind though is that you will need a SD card if you want to be able to record.

Installation and set-up was a breeze as long as you follow the instructions. The app is buggy when its dark outside, often taking 15-20 seconds to buffer live video, instead of 2-3 seconds in the light. For the price, it does everything I was looking for. Id probably invest in a moveable camera lens for wider coverage in the future.

ieGeek makes great stuff. This floodlight security camera in particular has all the features you want, like Activity Zones and 2-way audio via the app, as well as a solar panel so youre not climbing ladders regularly to charge up the camera. I prefer this style, with the floodlight, versus a typical camera, because I think the light itself is a deterrent in addition to augmenting the visibility and resolution of the footage. Highly recommended.

Have several ieGeek cameras and they all work great. The detail on this 2k camera is awesome. Its crisp and clear. My other cameras didnt have a flood light so I bought this. I live in Oregon and never have to charge the cameras when using the included solar panel. You wont be disappointed with this camera / light

I put mine outside in the back of my house in Oregon. I was worried it wouldn’t charge well because of our rainy cloudy winters but it has worked beautifully. It charges great, the picture quality is fantastic, the light illuminates the whole back yard, and I like the alerts it sends to my phone. You can set a siren or talk through it.

I have a few different cameras from this brand. I was excited when this camera came out because the previous flood camera I had from them required a hardwired electrical connection. This one can be powered by the included solar panel which works well—set it and forget it. The LED lights are bright given their relative small size. The app is easy to use and if you, like me, don’t like to subscribe to cloud storage, you can insert an SD card (not included) to record images and videos that are motion triggered. Lots of options in the app that you can mess around with. This is a great solution if you don’t have a plug near where you need to put the camera.

Picture quality is great. I love that I can customize the alert zones. The floodlight is definitely bright enough to deter anyone, plus the alarm adds that extra reinforcement. The only thing I didnt like was how far it stuck out from my house when we mounted it. Definitely would recommend and will be my go-to camera in the future

It was easy to install and does what it is supposed to. The solar recharging is a huge bonus. Using an SD card is great, so you don’t have to subscribe to their cloud service. The video is ok, and I like the night vision (but video quality is much less). The brightness of the light is good. While the main purpose of this was to provide light in our backyard for when our dog goes out at night, having the motion detector and video is a plus. It’s nice that the motion detection is designed for “humanoids” as we have a lot of animals that go through our yard (deer, raccoons, skunks). So far they haven’t set it off, but we can still look at the live feed in night vision to see them, or remotely turn on the light. My only complaint is we can’t figure out a way to turn on and leave on the light. Not sure if it is possible with this, but that would be a nice feature. You can turn it on from the app, but it only stays on for 10 seconds. When walking the dog at night, we have to wave to turn it on again. The app is nice, but it constantly makes you login again. It saves your user name and password, so you just have to click on the login button. Why not make it use the face recognition and keep you logged in?
