Easy to open for adults but not for children/ toddlers.

bought this as a solution as we live in an apartment, my child sleeps in their own room and my husband works a night shift so we can’t deadbolt the door, has worked great and i can finally sleep not worrying about my child breaking free in the middle of the night

This works good but it can come off if you have a demon toddler like I do. He was able to figure out this was taped on and just pulled really hard and got it off. Once he got it off, I was not able to relax knowing he could do it again. His father said he will try to add a screw to it, but we haven’t done that yet.

These work great for our doors handles. They took only minutes to install and they adhere very well. We have been using these for months now and they stay in place. Best thing is that at 4 1/2 years old, my grandson has not figured out how to open the locks of this pretty simple design. We have a slider door to the deck from the primary bedroom and he can open the locked slider so we needed a way to keep him out of the bedroom all together. These locks work!

I have these on front & back doors for a year and a half now The 4 year old has figured out how to open them BUT I have another on the storm door so it would take her about 20 minutes to escape So no danger there. The dog hasnt figured it out yet. Also I lock these at night as I have a battery digital deadbolt on front door & this just adds another level of security on front & back doors A burglar would be like WTF even if a pane of glass were smashed?!?!? I will keep these on doors when the kids are grown Great value

Great for toddlers, able to keep them from getting into bathrooms or open doors to the outside.
