Easy to install. Not sure how it will be to get it off the door but it does what I need it to - keep my cats from opening the door of their room and waking us up at night lol yes I bought it as a cat proof thing.

I bought this for our patio door and it has worked great. It is very easy to install and use but keeps the door from being opened by my young kids with its safety mechanism. Works great with a bolted door as an added layer of safety since kids easily learn to open normal door locks. Highly recommend this product.
