The adhesive was not strong enough but a roll of gorilla tape seemed to do the trick! Smart animals can be escape artists.

Keeps my toddler out of the bathrooms. He learned that all he has to do is pull it down and hes in. We live in a rent house so I am unable to change the door knobs.

I have these on front & back doors for a year and a half now The 4 year old has figured out how to open them BUT I have another on the storm door so it would take her about 20 minutes to escape So no danger there. The dog hasnt figured it out yet. Also I lock these at night as I have a battery digital deadbolt on front door & this just adds another level of security on front & back doors A burglar would be like WTF even if a pane of glass were smashed?!?!? I will keep these on doors when the kids are grown Great value

I bought this to prevent my cat from opening my lever doors. Its great! Easy to install it. Easy to open it when its locked even with single hand. Does the job to prevent my cat from opening the lever!!

This product seems to be holding up fine against my 2 year old son. He has not been able to defeat this safety measure. Being careful when installing, the adhesive stickers are very strong.

This was purchased for a blind friend with a cat who would pull the handles down to open doors. The friend would walk into the open doors and hurt herself. We turned the product upside down so she lifts the lever now and she does not use the locking mechanism of product. She just leaves the flapper up. The cat is unable to open the doors now and my friend no longer fears walking around her home.

Door cannot be opened from the outside once locked from the inside so it gets the job done.

Great idea, but my toddler figured out how to open the door within a week of installing this on our back door. So, didnt work for us. :(
