Works well for keeping wood floors clean. The one problem I encountered with the iRobot i4 was during set up. I created an account on the iRobot Home app, but the i4 was not syncing to the wifi network. I also bought a M6 iRobot mop and there were no issues connecting the mop to the app to my iPhone. I have an iPhone 8 and there is currently an issue with the iRobot Home app and iPhone. I was able to get the i4 to sync and connect through the app with my wifes Samsung phone. After that I can see the i4 on my iPhone, start and stop vacuum jobs, and program which rooms Id like cleaned. I am able to look at the data the vacuum provides after each use. It tells me how long it was running, what areas of the house it vacuumed, how many square feet were cleaned. It is used daily and keeps dirt and pet hair down and out of the way.

yes, its loud when the house is asleep, but a welcome sight midday. weve 2 dogs & this keeps up easily. sounds like a jet taking off when it empties. easy to set-up & app makes it seamless. voice command works but name your rooms simply & distinctly. dont know why I waited so long to get one...

I figured after the length of time this thing has been around most of the bugs would be worked out. Apparently not. I would not recommend if you have a lot of furniture or throw rugs. This may work well for large empty rooms but not much else. Constantly needs brushes cleaned (mostly long hair) and in the middle of certain rugs just detects a drop off and stops. Once you move it to new location near where it was it loses its ability to detect where it is and abandons the job. Cant finish 4 rooms without recharging first, even though I assume thats because of some throw rugs and bumping into things 100s of times. I can understand chairs and things that can move around and be a problem but walls and things like washers and dryers are pretty stationary. Oh well, gave it a try to see where the technology was and apparently they have a long way to go. Dont waste your money.

It had to map the house, but once it did that, it cleans everywhere pretty thoroughly. I thought it’d be chaotic, but the lines it leaves in carpet are perfectly symmetrical. It works consistently and does a great job!

I bought this at Christmas 2021. It does it’s job eventually. It does not always go in rows as advertised. It tends to like certain areas more than others. Some places it goes back to multiple times, where other places in a room it goes only once. It does not go back to its base to empty or charge. I am disappointed with those features. The suction is good.

This vacuum with the auto empty is nice. The gotcha that I would advise is make sure you have 2.4 ghz wifi. This will not work with new 5ghz It was a bear to get connected to wifi and the app will auto disconnect that requires me to restart my phone for it to work. It does a great job cleaning and the empty feature is also awesome. My son has a previous model roomba and same issues. I have a Samsung vacuum upstairs and had no connection issues. That is the most frustrating part of this. I open the app and sometimes it just works and I kick off the vacuum other times the only way to fix is to reboot my phone- I have Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra. But have found many others with same issue by googling. It took me 2 hrs to get the vacuum to connect during setup. I found the trick to finally be a factory reset on the vacuum that let it connect to.my wifi - I have both 5 and 2.4 with smart detect. I even broke those out created separate ones changed connection types it was a bear. And something surprising for how long they have been around - didnt face any connection issue setting my Samsung vacuum on same connections though

    Greater than one week

This is probably my first 1 star review on Amazon. We were so disappointed. We had an Ecovac w 2 brushes that worked amazingly. It would only get stuck if it climbed over a cord or bulk that it couldnt get over. This roomba only has 1 brush and stops if theres anything AT ALL in the eay. A line needle or piece of a leaf and rooba cries for help dies in place and after 2 months of owning this overpriced piece of junk, we have yet to get it to clean a sinlge room! It has all the bells and whistles but cannot do its basic function. I thought we would try out the name brand and we are very fisappointed. The only reaspn we replaced our ecovac was because it was an older model thst did not work with 5G at our new home. Will never buy roomba again.
