Greater than one weekI let the lozenges slowly dissolve under my tongue, which usually happens after only a few minutes. They taste good. I bought the 1,000 mcg and am happy with the dosage. Ive tried the 500 mcg and I didnt feel my mood improve as much with those. Although the research says its fine, Im not comfortable taking the higher mcg options that Jarrow has available, but thats just my personal preference, and the 1,000 is great for me. B12 is critical for improved mood and the B vitamins play a key role in preventing aging. They are especially necessary if you on a vegetarian or vegan diet, which I tend to be.

11-04-2025I found the pills very hard to chew. I grind them up so I dont really taste them. Because of the sickness going around the world I cant go to my Dr for a B 12 shot so I have been using these instead.

> 3 dayHas a nice flavor. Takes a while to dissolve under the tongue but you can chew it up a little first to make it go faster. Cant say I experienced any miracles, but I think it did help with a mild boost in mood, energy, and mental clarity. Might be worth a shot if you arent getting enough b12 in your diet or other supplements, especially if you have problems with anxiety and/or depression.

> 3 dayI got my blood tested and my B12 is high... it used to be really low. I am not sure my body (Ihave MTHFR issues) absorbs B vitamins well but this is absolutely helping me. I highly recommend them.

> 3 dayAnd oddly enough, I sleep better on the days I remember to supplement with this product. I tend to have nights of insomnia, but noticed that it never seems to happen when I take this particular B. I also take another B supplement that has other types of B12 in it, but that also has a lot of other things that tend to keep me awake if I take it too late in the day. I like having B12 I can take when I forget the other. I had pernicious anemia so seriously 11 years ago I was on daily injections for almost a year. Must take a sublingual. Also, my daughter and husband who both have celiac disease MUST supplement with B12 and it makes a difference in their energy levels. B12 is absorbed in the area of the small intestine that is destroyed by gluten, so anyone with celiac disease must take the various forms of 12 (there are four--this is the most absorbable and most important one to take if you chose just one--most companies use the cheapest one in formulas but its not very absorbable, especially in the gut-- I cant remember the exact name--). Update: I just posted this but then read the other reviews. A comment on those who say it does not dissolve well: Drink a glass of water PRIOR to taking the pill. Also, move your jaw in a chewing motion to activate the salivary glands for better absorption. This is good to do when drinking a chia drink, juicing, or whenever taking a sublingual.

> 3 dayAfter eating a vegan diet for 3 years, I started having serious problems with fatigue. A blood test revealed low B-12 levels. The doctor recommended monthly B-12 shots, but the bright red dye in the injections freaked me out (what IS that stuff?) and I didnt want the inconvenience of needing to go get shots, so I started taking the Jarrow Methyl B-12. My fatigue disappeared rapidly and my B-12 levels normalized. There is scientific research that shows B-12 absorption is not effected by whether you chew the tablets or dissolve them sublingually, so I chew them. Methyl B-12 is the best form to take as it is more bioavailable, and the more commonly found cyanocobalamin form of B-12 leaves trace amounts of cyanide in the body. Who needs that?! A highly regarded nutrition researcher and lecturer recommended the Jarrow brand to me and Im very happy with the product.

> 3 dayLemon does not really taste like anything but chalk. I would not call this a lozenge either - it won’t dissolve under the tongue. I tried it because the one I have ordered for years was unavailable. It’s okay.

> 3 dayMy doctor told me to start taking b12 because it was low and I decided to try this one. It’s affordable and tastes good and it works! My b12 in November 2020 was 246 and it went up to 559 in January 2021 while I was taking these pills
