KA1214-BRK USA Fighting Knife, Steel

As I expected its a great piece of equipment. Comes sharp, not a bad sheeth and the whole thing feels incredibly sturdy. Totally worth the price.

To me this was always the knife to buy! I bought it with the intent to actually use it for hunting but have yet to do so. It is a very well known and well made knife used in the military. It it very durable and maintains a sharp edge! A buddy of mine even sheared champagne bottle with it and it hardly did anything to the edge! Took out a sharpening tool and did a couple passes and the blade was perfect again. I would definitely recommend this knife to anyone who is looking for one. Will definitely be a knife you keep for a lifetime! I may even end up buying one more!

The K-Bar knife I received is really nice. The all black color looks awesome. The knife is razor sharp right out of the box. I would definitely buy another one. I would also like to have the olive green K-Bar too. I have seen the same style in the big hunting stores for a lot more. Thanks Amazon.

The attached image shows the blade used once, in Finland cutting few 1/8 birch branches. I own a pretty nice collection of knives and frankly, this is substandard. It will not hold a decent edge under even easy use. hard to believe this is what US troops have to deal with. The sheath is very well made, as well as general construction. As a reference, there is a picture of a silver capped special edition knife that costed about the same and performed the same duties, with no visible effects.

This knife has performed well. I havent heavily abused it, but its given me no sign that it wouldnt hold up to anything I could throw at it. I ordered it with the kydex sheath, and was very impressed with that combination. It locked securely into the sheath even without affixing the nylong restraint, which was nice. I dont like knives that are complicated to get out of the sheath, or require two hands to put back into the sheath. With this, you can pop it out or back in easily, and still have no fear of it shaking loose, even in an upside down carry position. It needed some sharpening out of the box, so be prepared for that. But thats not why I gave it four stars. I would have given it four and a half stars if I could have, because my only gripe is that the texturing on the handle could be a little bit rougher. I have noticed that when its raining, or if Im very sweaty that my hand does tend to slip a litle unless I have a very firm grip. This hasnt been a big problem in use, just a minor annoyance. Some grip tape added to it fixed that right away. That being said, I would happily trust this knife with my life, and I believe that the price is very fair for a knife that you could hand down to the next generation.

In my opinion, this is the standard to compare all other fixed blade knives. It came razor sharp. The balance is phenomenal. The handle feels excellent; doesnt slide at all( like the leather wrapped handles do on occasion). Sheath is great; dont know if it is kydex or not, but it definitely holds the knife securely. The only issue I had with this order was with shipping. Ordered it on a Friday, checked on the following Tuesday, and it still had not shipped. Dont know what the issue was, but I contacted Amazon, and they upgraded my shipping to one day free of charge. Like I said, I dont know what the issue was, but Amazon fixed the problem for me. Great customer service

This knife is incredible and is the only knife youll ever need. It arrives razor sharp and the sheath is very well made as well. Worth every cent!

The knife is very good but i would not buy it here. Amazon has no control over its wherhouse and its employes who steal customers knives and send them boxes filled with books comprable to the weight of the knives. now you have to waste your time on the phone with Amazon and make trips to post office to return the box and wait 2 weeks for your refund!!
