> 3 dayWhen measuring for voltage, accuracy is of the utmost importance. Without having accurate voltage readings you simply have a test light, not a meter. This tester is famous for its poor accuracy, reading a different voltage with each use and being 10v off. Quality checks should be done and calibration should be double checked when manufacturing these, since they clearly are not, I can’t trust any other tools by this manufacturer to be accurate either. There is no way for the end user to calibrate the device, making it nothing more than a test light. Looks cool though.

Greater than one weekGreat product for the D Y i folks or maintenance people, i like that it has a GFI tester as well. It will take a little tine to get used to the red led lights. The main feature i believe is it shows the volts coming to the outlet. Again great product.

> 3 dayI was installing new outlets and the ones previously intalled in my room the wires were reversed, this helped me correct the problem, everything is eired correctly in ny house now

> 3 dayThis is a great outlet tester. Worth the price, is accurate and has a voltage display. Helped me solve an issue with easy.

> 3 dayThe battery tray for the pen tester is too big for for AA batteries. The batteries shake around inside because of this and the loose connection causes the pen to turn off constantly when in use

Greater than one weekBeen living in the same house since 1986. Ive been testing my voltage for about 20 years now. The readings with a multi-meter has always been between 119V and 129V. This unit tested out my house between 98V and 100V. It did display that the wiring is correct which it is, hence the 2 star rating. I will be returning this almost useless device.

> 3 dayFunctions fine as a simple outlet tester. However the voltage readout measured about 15 volts lower than my fluke 117. Purchased two of them. Both read voltage 10+ volts lower than they are. Tested them against two seperate fluke meters. Again they do function fine as a standard circuit tester but wouldnt trust the numbers on the screen.

> 3 dayGreat tester. Compared to the models Ive been using before, they just have the lights to show proper polarity. It is a great feature to have the voltage showing on the tester. I checked for accuracy with my fluke meter and the voltage shows and reads correctly. This tester also includes the GFI trip button. Great product.

> 3 dayThis was an inexpensive quick check for plug-ins. The display is easy to use. I have not checked the voltage read out against another volt meter for accuracy, but the three light system for checking polarity and ground was the reason I bought it for. GFCI function seems to work fine.
