Greater than one weekThe volt meter portion of the device is off by about seven volts for 120 volt power as compared to a calibrated volt meter. It works but accuracy is not good. I have an older unit with less features, but it is very accurate with the voltage reading.

> 3 dayBe sure to keep the instructions handy until you’re fluent with this gadget, but once you figure it out it’s fantastic. Great value

> 3 dayIm pretty handy, but honestly was a little worried I would mess something up trying to install a bunch of new outlets. This gave me piece of mind and caught one error that I was easily able to fix according to what it told me.

> 3 dayI replaced some outlets and then used this to make sure it was wired correctly

> 3 dayAfter about 5 uses the ground pin is so loose that you cant plug it in anymore and one of the blades has a lot of left to right movement. I leave it on my desk in its original box for storage and its used occasionally to test temporary outlets. I was impressed with the overall design but the quality is lacking.

> 3 dayEl equipo permite con seguridad hacer trabajos eléctricos que permiten identificar la fase y el neutro en una instalación eléctrica. El equipo identifica cada línea auditiva y visualmente que también permite verificar la correcta conexión de los toma corrientes. Lo recomiendo.

> 3 dayI typically use a different style receptacle testerfrom a reputable brand, but I chose this tester because it had the added feature of displaying the voltage. I had just finished a big electrical job recently and I had a lot of outlets to test. I began to use this tester and for the first few outlets everything checked out okay. (A good wired outlet shows the first 2 of 3 lights illuminated on the tester. Any other configuration and the outlet is wired wrong.) After the first half dozen outlets were tested I started noticing only one light lit on the tester - signaling an “open ground” Then I realized EVERY OUTLET suddenly had an open ground issue, even the first good outlets I tested earlier. Then I realized that the TESTER WAS BAD - A CHEAP LED BURNED OUT. The tester looks like a decent design but mine did not hold up after only 15 minutes of use. This was my experience.

> 3 dayI dont like working with outlets and replacing receptacles. But, I used this device to ensure the current running to the outlet was truly off and safe to work with - it was accurate testing on and off current!
