I built a new construction home and our sheetrocker covered boxes. Turn off the power and hook this up and boom i was able to pin point exact spot of where the wires were in the box. My walls are deep 2x6 so I wasn’t sure if it would work. But it worked well.

Sound is very low. Im a audio guy and could use more volume. Other than that it worked okay. Nothing special.

I forgot one connection and couldnt figure out where the wire was. Followed the instructions for this tool and found it right away. Saved me tons of work.

I have used this tracing wires, finding breaker’s in unmarked panels even found found a broken wire under a house that had been pinched by a wire staple and burnt in two. Great tool for the money!

Work where other cheaper product didnt. Was able to trace wires in walls with multiple adjacent wires. Cost more than I wanted, but saved money in the long run. Better than paying big bucks for an Electrican.

This toner works exactly as advertised. Lost power to several places in a house we recently rented. The landlord had three different people come to try and fix it. No luck. I hooked the toner up to the dead socket at the end of the line. Checked all the dead outlets,switches, and lights. Got a good signal at all. Started checking powered outlets in the general area. Found one with a signal. Turned off power disconnected wires and toned out to make sure. Reconnected wires to screws on outlet instead of back slide in connections. Turned on power problem solved.
