Greater than one weekThis is second tape rule that I have had of this type. The first Ive had for 4 years and used as light duty (home repairs) It has been great, but has become scratched up with use over time. Now I have a a new one. A great deal for this tape!

Greater than one weekYou’d think a tape measure is no big deal, but I love this thing. My husband and I just bought a new house and this has been perfect for measuring everything! The lock feature is so helpful!

> 3 dayWorks opposite of traditional styles. Push an easily pressed button to release/retract tape. 4 + years experience with this tape measure. This purchase is a replacement.

> 3 dayI love this tape measure. Ive liked the ease of the Leverlock type tape measures, but they always get loose and start to reel in when you set them on the workpiece to mark the measurement. I have no such problem here since the button is on top. Smooth operation. Im a big fan.

> 3 dayThe automatic lock feature means the tape stays wherever you leave it. To retract it you have to press the button. This works so much better it will make your other tape measures obsolete!

> 3 dayI cant believe the more known higher-end companys arent making similar designs. The self locking feature is extremely helpful and personally havent had any issues with it failing and I use it pretty regularly throughout each day 5 days a week. It does have a 1/16th difference in measurement with the metal tab being pulled tight-have been told thats to account for a blade but would only make the difference with a thin kerf and I tend to account for the blade when Im making my cut and where I place the cut- dont need a tape measure to do that for me. Otherwise I find it very easy to read-the easy read feature being a useful cheat when Im tired as well and dont want to think about which line its falling on. The alternate white side is placed for vertical measurements which has proven useful and an asset Ive yet to come across on my other tape measures albeit Im sure their out there. It retracts quickly about 3 with a single push. The metal tape starts to give at approx 411 on the colored side and twists sharply at approx 2 with the vertical white side up (granted its not intended to be extended horizontal for this side to be read). I intend to purchase the 25 tape for building our deck this summer and dont expect any less.
