Out of the 4 different tapes Ive bought recently, plus several I already owned, this is my favorite. Granted, thats with limited use so far, so I cant say anything about durability. However, this locking mechanism is fantastic: very smooth deployment, very positive auto lock, and provides complete control over retraction with minimal effort. It fits the hand naturally as well, with a soft rubber grip.

The bright green color of this measuring tape makes it easy to locate in a cluttered building site. I’m going to by another for the house.

As a new homeowner of an old house in disrepair, this gadget-- has been a boon. I love it.

Its accurate, unlike another tape measure I recently got that was off by 1/32, but the locking mechanism is weak. Pull it out more than a couple feet and it will slowly retract. I would just buy a normal tape measure that has a strong lock that actually works instead of this.
