LEGO DC Batman 1989 Batmobile 76139 Building Kit (3,306 Pieces)

This one hits close to the heart. In my house, the whole family, we love LEGOs. While I can proudly state that I have put together my fair share of LEGO blocks, they keep raising the bar, and this one is no exception. This set is building oriented rather than focusing on role playing, which to me is perfect. With 3,306 Pieces, is the largest one I have put together. More than the Millenium Falcon or the Jurassic World T-rex yet with ton of complexity. If you are a fan of LEGO, this one is the real deal. Strongly recommended. This is an amazing set! Wish I could have got it from Lego before it retired! Paid WAY too much for it but that’s how the Lego retired market goes… because chumps like me will pay out the ass for them. Overall, pleased with it.

It is the worst lego model I had ever to deal with. Too fragile. Things do not hold together and around bag#20 the model just starts to fall apart. It is not my first or even 20th Lego model, so my sampling is valid. Lego dropped a ball on this one.

Bought it for my Godson. He spent days putting it together. He loves it.

Bought this just to collect the minifies included in this set. Have not put it together yet but from all the reviews on the web this is a great set to invest in or build for displaying.

This is the coolest lego set I’ve ever seen. It is also the most time consuming. There 24 bags of legos to build this set. On average it took my husband 45 minutes per bag, so all in all about 18 hours to complete the set. We spread this out over several days. The end result is stunning, and something worthy of display in a mancave or somewhere special. This set is very advanced, the box recommends age 16+. My 9 year old son also participated, but it was a little much for him. The instruction book was thick, approximately 400 pages. Super impressive set, definitely recommend. Vicky Vail, Joker, Batman figures included.

Incredible. This is actually bigger and better than I thought it would be. If you are a Batman or LEGO fan or collector, this is a no brainer. Very happy. (At the time of writing this review I have not finished building it yet. Once I have if I encounter any issues or missing pieces I will update this review).

Approximate Lego box size and weight: 22.75L x 14.75W x 6.25H, 10 Lbs. Really nice pics of Batmobile on box. Shipped in Amz box, but had a small dent in Lego box. Not bought for investment, otherwise I would have exchanged until I got a mint condition one. All higher priced Lego sets should be packaged for shipping like the Lego #75292 Star Wars Mandalorian The Razor Crest, with its own sized-to-fit outer box to protect the Lego box inside.

This set is very big. And very detailed. Took about a week to finish. Looks great on the shelf. The mini figures for Batman and joker look great as well
