It is the worst lego model I had ever to deal with. Too fragile. Things do not hold together and around bag#20 the model just starts to fall apart. It is not my first or even 20th Lego model, so my sampling is valid. Lego dropped a ball on this one.

Ok. So I have built every automobile there is by LEGO. I am a huge fan. This one was so pricy and I finally CAVED (no pun intended) because of the rona. And the fact that i have built everything they have on 4 wheels. I see everyone has given this a great rating. I say NO. Its beautiful when youre done and its very challenging. But its challenging because things dont really fit well together. I found so many loose cuts/fits that every time I had to move it or flip it, something fell off, which is fine at the beginning. When youre half way through and you start losing parts from the interior, youre done for unless you want to disassemble the whole thing. The Ghostbusters car is around the same territory and it is built to last. Every time I even touch this, something comes loose. I would not recommend this kit for the price. Nope. LEGO let down. If I thought they cared, I would let them know. And I didnt even earn VIP points because I bought it here. PS They didt even bother reinforcing the tires to support the weight of all the bricks! YOU HAVE to keep it on the platform or they start to warp. Honestly, the engineers failed here. And I dont know why Im the only one saying it.

I am a huge Lego fan. Ive been putting them together since I was little. Ive been slowly putting together a lego town based on various builds that catch my eye. I was super excited to see this on Amazon. I started a couple of days ago and it took me roughly ten and a half hours to put it together. Its a nice set, the batmobile looks nice, its big and heavy duty. With that being said, there are some complaints with the kit. The first one is a long time complaint, the colors are off on their manuals and sometimes it leads me to looking for a piece that is the incorrect color. For as much as they charge for these sets, the color printing in the book should be precise. Second, the size of this model and the perspectives offered in the book of the vehicle can be really frustrating sometimes, often having me check and double check where the parts are supposed to be going. Third, sometimes its easy to miss a step given the color of the set and the parts included, there were times that I had to back track and check, sometimes double check, only to realize I had missed a step that was drawn on to the model of the build instead of using lines to show what goes where. Considering how Lego sets are built, itd be nice if they had as precise as possible instructions. The red outline that they use to represent pieces on the model can very easily missed, especially with the smaller parts. Fourth, there are several instances in which you are instructed to build up a area of the set, only to have to come back later, once it is incredibly cramped, requiring you to squeeze something in dozens of bags later. Fifth, Im discovering Lego is using more and more stickers in their sets. We already know they can print designs on their blocks, why cant they just print these designs on all of them instead of relying on cheap stickers? This is frustrating and feels cheap. This was a fairly frustrating build in some spots and Im unsure if Id even recommend this for kids. It looks great and I dont regret getting it or the time I spent on it, but I wouldnt want to do it again and it was a bit of a relief when I had finally finished it. On a side note, its be nice if Lego included a little zip lock bag for the extra pieces that come with their kits. Reddit has explained that some parts weigh so little that extra parts are included to make up the difference in weight. Now I have these little extra pieces rolling around and the smallest zip lock bag I have is thirty gallons.

I was mostly disappointed with this build. I used to build the large Star Wars lego sets with my son (as models) and those were pretty solid. This build is just plain fragile. Countless times while building pieces that were put on earlier on the build fell off while trying to connect other pieces. In many cases you then have to take a couple of steps back to reconnect because they are inside tight spaces. Even once fully completed parts tend to fall off as you move it around. While one could argue it is because it is being moved I dont believe this to be the case. A lot of the pieces are literally held on in odd places by one or two studs and fall off just by putting the model on a table or dusting it off. In some places there is reinforcement in place but many of the exterior pieces do not have this. Given the stability of the SW sets I was greatly disappointed. More reinforcement would have been helpful here. In some places a shape is built using small pieces when a custom brick would have been better. In other places custom bricks are used, it is a mismatch of logic. The instructions were OK but there are several places where it is unclear how far a piece should connect to another piece (or even where) given all the same shaded colors. Blowouts would have been helpful here to clarify where pieces should be placed. Overall I like the model itself but it is probably the most fragile piece in my collection. Fortunately it sits on a shelf and will not be moved often but when it is I expect to have to put little pieces back on, if I can remember where they go.

Got this as a birthday gift from my friends, apart from their obvious generosity, nothing can top this recreation of the iconic batmobile. The part count per dollar is great , the theme is great , the figures are necessary but are great , and the build itself is near perfect. If you are on the fence about this and have the money for it, I highly recommend purchasing as not only do you get an amazing build but a satisfying building process, the design team really outdid themselves.
