> 3 dayA little expensive and it preforms as intended but the shipping from the seller is horrible. Plan on waiting 3 plus weeks.

31-03-2025I bought this remote wireless off/on plug for my sons lights which hang in his room. He uses Alexas voice command to turn them off and on. Easy set up with his iPhone! I would highly recommend it for a simple wireless on/off solution. This is not a dimmer.

> 3 dayUpdate 12/6/18 I recently reconfigured my WiFi network as a mesh network with a single SIDD for both bands. After reconnecting smart plug adapter it worked fine, but then it keep dropping off the network. I noticed this as a problem for all 15 of my Leviton WiFi switches. They would randomly drop off the network and I would have to reconnect them. I dont think they are agile enough to handle band hopping like a more robust network adapter. Once I switch back to a standard network configuration, the switches returned to stable operation. The Leviton is an easy to setup and use IoT device. It does not require a hub to use, but does require and Internet connection, as all the programming is stored on the cloud. Programming options are this module are basic on and off, as this is just a switching module for fans and motors, no dimming. The only issue Ive had with Levitons switches is they have locked up and Ive had to either unplug them or shut the power off to the wired moules to get them to reset, as the reset button would not even work. Other than that they have been very reliable. I use them to control my outside lights so they all come on at the same time instead of sporadically with photocells. The Leviton application allows you to set the units to come on and sundown based on you geographical location, with a time offset if desired.

Greater than one weekAfter purchasing a cheaper model and having them fail, I bought this and have been very happy with it. I have my swamp cooler plugged into it and when I am on my way home, I turn it on in the app so that the house is nice and cool for me by the time I get home. A real energy saver! I wish I would have bought all of the Leviton.

> 3 dayI am a newbie to home automation and wanted to ease my way into it. I have a tower of lights that has individual lamps that need to be turn on each time. It is a pain to use them so they dont get used much. The tower has a standard plug cord so i decided to try the Leviton Plug-in and see if i could turn them on at once with Alexa and/or an app. Set-up was really easy. I plugged in the unit to the outlet, plugged in the lamp cord, downloaded the Leviton App and followed the instructions on the app. The entire process took less that 5 minutes. Once the app/device was set up I went to the Alexa app and linked the plug-in. This too was very easy. Now all i have to do is tell Alexa to turn on/off the lights and voila, it does. I also liked the ability to set up timed events on the Leviton app. Now if have the lights go on/off when I am away so people think there is someone home. Based on this experience I am sold on home automation and will be ordering 600W dimmers for my Kitchen and bedrooms. Leviton has made a high quality device that is very easy to set-up and even easier to use.

> 3 dayCan not recommend. Bought two of these outlet switches and neither will work. They will configure and work for less than a minute then they lose connection. I have a small home, 1200 sq ft with a really good router. No problems reaching outside and connecting to things in the detatched garage. These will not even stay connected in the same room as the wifi router. A real shame since the light switches are so good. I had high hopes for these. Very disappointed.

> 3 dayI purchased the plug-in outlet to try out a new (and more affordable) automation system. Ive been a long-time user of Insteon (and X10) devices to control lighting and devices in and around my house, so I have a baseline to compare against. I found this unit very easy to setup on my wireless network and update the firmware using my iPhone and the iOS app. Schedules and activities were equally easy to program and its very responsive to on/off commands from my iOS devices. The ability to schedule an event up to 120 minutes before or after sunrise/sunset is something I cant do now with my Insteon devices. Ive been needing to add more devices to my house, and after trying out this unit, it looks like Ill be transitioning to Leviton. Easy to install/integrate, intuitive to operate, better scheduling flexibility, no hub required and the Leviton plug-in devices are about 20% less than their Insteon counterparts. After my positive experience with the plug-in outlet, I recently replaced an existing manual dimmer switch with the Decora Smart Wi-Fi dimmer switch to control the lights over my fireplace. Installation was easy enough and connecting it to the wifi network was a breeze. Integration with Alexa is impressive and allows me to just tell her Im headed to bed and have the appropriate lights turn off. A great (possibly overlooked) feature in the app is the ability to tell the dimmer what type of bulb(s) it is controlling (incandescent, CFL or LED) providing a more linear relationship between slider position in the app and brightness. Ive also noticed I can dim my LED floods better with this than the previous manual dimmer. The My Leviton app provides better schedule flexibility than the Insteon app as I can command devices to turn on/off not only at sunset/sunrise, but also up to 120 minutes before/after. Plus, I dont need a hub. I was recently on travel and able to quickly and remotely check/control the lights. Ill definitely be replacing more of my switches, dimmer switches and plug-in dimmers with Levitons Smart Decora series.
