> 3 dayI’m giving this monitor 4 stars instead of the 5 because it is advertised to run higher refresh rates at 1440p when this is not true when playing on the PS5. I’m sure it runs great on a PC and of course the PS5 is no PC, but there wasn’t anything clear about this issue in the specs when doing my research. I only found out after a very disappointing unboxing and several attempts to figure it out. So if you are on PS5 and looking for that new 120hz capability, look elsewhere. This monitor is not going to cut it.

> 3 dayJust like you, I was afraid, $800 isnt cheap for me. Some people in the reviews here seem upset specially about dead pixels, but I ended up going with this one monitor (lg 34gp83a-b) because of all the good specs it has on paper. After more than a month of usage I can tell you that Im in love with it. I spend hours daily working with it and its not exhausting at all. The higher refresh rate, curved screen, pixel density and excellent colors make it very comfortable to work with, plus now I have a ton of screen space from which I can just click and drag stuff everywhere, it makes work fun. I didnt go with the Gigabyte M34WQ because I fell in love with curved monitors (later on that monitor reviews I read people complaining on it being exhausting to work on after a while because of the flat screen but I suppose that is a matter of personal taste. I didnt go with the Asus VG34VQL1B because on some reviews I read people complaining about the color smearing which honestly I dont think you would notice unless you were a monitor sommelier. One thing you should know before buying it is that you need a displayport capable computer (make sure your computer and the gpu supports displayport) it has an hdmi port but it is limited to 85hz. Other than that, this is the best monitor right now in its segment. Hope this helps!

> 3 dayInitially I am impressed with this monitor. Performance is great, colors are great, the brightness is pretty good and the settings as always are awesome with LG Ultragear monitors. I have this hooked up to my Gaming PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It works great to either take a 4K image or now that PS5 has 1440p support it also accepts that. There’s an option to adjust the aspect ratio for individual inputs so you can basically play at 4K or 1440p on an equivalent 27” in part of the screen on PS5 or Switch. But on my gaming PC this looks amazing using the full 3440x1440p resolution and 144hz with 10 bit color. Ghosting is almost non existent and gaming is really great on this monitor. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a pretty great Ultrawide monitor.

Greater than one weekPro: Good image quality monitor, color accurate, brightness bright enough brighter than my old acer . Nice compact features bake in the monitor. The response time it 1-2ms but this nano ips panel promised it will provide 1ms response I guess it have to do with the graphics card. Nvidia g-sync enabled monitor. Refresh rate is 144hz but it can go much higher than that it is exactly 160hz. Cons: HDR not great. Usb cable not provided so prepare one if you want to use the onscreen control and customization. No pic by pic mode: not like the biggest brother the 38inch or 48inch (Tech YouTuber review) which you can have two input source side by side. Lg should include a 5w or lower like 2w speaker inside the monitor but they didn’t even though something that screw me up is that the monitor have a bee sound when you turn on I guess that it made by some type of hardware resistor or transistor. The most important is the stand being this monitor that big: stand are ok but bullky and the base take half of my desk space. Also the stand it will bring the monitor closer to you, I wish this monitor bdoesn have the headphones hold on the back of the stand so I can bring my monitor back a little bit. Finally my main complain is that this stand is made with medium quality, if you move your desk or shake or even little force it will make the monitor shake crazy and that is bad for your eye if your monitor is shaking while you looking. I will update more in the future

> 3 dayProbably one of the best monitors you can buy if you want curved ultrawide. On the pricey side but you get what you pay for, most of the ~$400-$500 ultrawides have some cons: bad viewing angles, blurry text on the sides, not curved, VA panel, slow pixel response, issues with sleep, etc. This monitor doesnt have any of those issues and works flawlessly for me. Pros: IPS display Excellent input lag Excellent pixel response times(Im not very sensitive to this so make sure it meets your needs) Works perfectly with Nvidia cards using Gsync Text is crisp and clear across the whole panel No brightness/color shifts from normal viewing angles Sleeps properly with Windows(had a lot of trouble with this on other monitors and my tv) Curved ultrawide, super immersive for gaming Colors look great and has very good contrast IMO The one physical button control works really well and is super easy to use Gets more than bright enough for my use(I do 40% during a bright day, 20% in the evening, and 5% in the dark) Cons: The panel is a bit reflective, luckily I have it in a position where I dont have to deal with it. But if there is direct sunlight hitting it, you may have some issues(though I think it can get bright enough to overcome this) The panel sits pretty forward on the stand, so unless you have a deep desk, you will be pretty close to it(great for games with super wide FOV though) No built in speakers(though I imagine most people spending this much have proper speakers so a moot point) The part of the power cable going from the brick to the monitor is a bit short, if your desk is high enough you will either have a hanging power brick or need to place it on the desk or something.

> 3 dayFor the price of around $300, this was the most feature-packed monitor I could find. Decently high resolution with a high refresh rate, built-in speakers, FreeSync and an adjustable stand. My only complaint so far is that there is quite a bit of ghosting/color bleed when pixels change from dark to bright colors. I believe this is due to the VA panel. After a few days of use Ive gotten used to it, but it does make games with darker environments a little hard to play.

Greater than one weekMacbook pro 2019/i7 detects and calibrates the monitor at full capability correctly using display port to usb connection. Installation is super simple, just few clicks, no tools needed, height and tilt adjustments works great. Screen looks sharp/crisp for normal web / productivity related use (have not tried gaming to comment on it)

> 3 dayI ordered this after hours of research on many different monitors. I decided to pull the plug on this. I’m glad I did, this monitor is great. The video quality is good and is excellent for gaming. I’m looking to purchase another soon.
