Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Just what I expected.

A must have for the Metal Gear fans. Only played Metal Gear Solid before these: no matter if these three were made 8-12 years ago: great story, difficult AI and its still an innovative game.

Great way to play some of the best metal gear solid games in the series all on the PS3. Its a great buy and I highly recommend it if youre a fan of the series or want to try some of the best sneaking and stealth games of their generations.

The Metal Gear Solid series is easily my favorite video game series. I personally havent played any other games that have the level of story-telling that Hideo Kojima has created in the MGS series. Now, Im sure that there are other good story-driven games out there, so please, I dont want a horde of rabid fanboys telling me otherwise in the comments. But nevertheless, in my opinion, everyone who has a PS3 should definitely play this series. The MGS games just go so far above other games in developing a story that draws you in and gives you a reason to keep playing into all hours of night.

if this is your first time playing MGS then youll have to buy MGS1 from PSN (10$) because the HD collection doesnt contain MGS1

Buy the full collection instead but otherwise great.

Fantastic product. I was looking everywhere for it for a reasonable/affordable price and it was finally on amazon over thanksgiving for just 30 bucks. I bought it and it got to me super quick. Awesome choice for a PS3 w/o backwards compatibility, and the HD graphics are not too shabby.

One star rating aside, I love these games, but these are not the games the way they are meant to be.

This brings back all the glory of the ps2 metal gear experience to the ps3 making it look better (slightly) nothing to amazing but noticeable. Its all about the game play with these and each give its own unique experience. The replayability on all 3 titles included are very high and you can lose hours playing peace walker online and off the missions seem almost endless. And mgs3 includes metal gear and metal gear solid snake. Its great for a metal gear fan and for someone wanting to get into metal gear I recommend getting mgs if you havent played it yet.

If you are a Metal Gear Solids fan, this game is for you. Great graphics in HD and great stories. I received the game in a few days and in excelent condition. Very recommendable for a gift or your own collection.
