Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

This is the best buy I have done for the PS3. The only problem is that I do not have enought time to play all of them as I used to have when I was younger.

Metal Gear Solid is a classic series that warrants playing. The story of Raiden, Snake, and Snake have to be experienced. This is one of the best ways to play MGS 2 and 3.

I am SO HAPPY I bought this collection. Im a huge fan of Metal Gear Solid. The graphics look superb. They almost look like brand new games! This was the first time Id ever played Peace Walker. I like the game play but I dont care too much for the graphic novel story-telling though. All-in-all, Peace Walker is still a top rate game.

This is an awesome update and porting of great classic ps2 games to new consoles. However I dont feel its complete without MGS1 the original. I would love to play that again and the expansion vr game. Otherwise this is exactly as it sounds a modernization of unforgettable games.

Loved this game collection if youre going to get this, get if for metal gear solid 2, and 3. i love peacewalker to but its not the same like metal gear solid 1-3 were,i like it better the original style of the metal gear solid series,but i can say peacewalker is a good change of pace. if you like the psp metal gear solid games than peacewalker is a no brainer to you and you will love it just as well as the other games. metal gear 1 and 2 are bonuses, for its time its pretty good. i personally would play metal gear 1 and 2 just for the storyline of solid snake. metal gear solid 3 is what makes me come back and play this game over and over again!

Being a large MGS fan, I found that Peace Walker was as phenomenal as everyone has said. The HD version played very well. A must play for fans of the series.

Overall decent game, however it does take a lot of patience to complete. If youre a Metal Gear enthusiast you know this already. I bought this thinking it would bring back to the good ol days of Metal Gear on PS1. I have not yet complete the MGS HD Collection, maybe one day though...

these games are great if you want to relive the series on an hd tv this is the set for you only thing is were is portable ops?

My first Metal Gear game was Metal Gear Solid on the Ps1. I played it when I was 11 or 12 years old and I remember how much fun I had. I played MGS2 when I was around 18 and for 10 years I didnt play anymore Metal Gear games. Now I started to play all of them again (starting from MGS1 bought from PSN) and I have to say that I appreciate the story so much more and they are still so much fun and the quality is amazing even if you play MGS from the PS1. Some guy says that not having MSG1 here is bad but you can get that from the PSN for 9 bucks and is well worth the money.
