Mighty Mule Wireless Digital Keypad (FM137)

A lot of negative reviews here for this however it worked beautifully for me. My GTO remote was able to program it within about 2 seconds of holding the button. Its been out in the elements for about a month now and is still working fine.

Good durable quality, easy installation and stands up to our very adverse winter weather without a glitch. Would highly recommend this keypad.

I read the reviews before buying, many of them said that it would not work wirelessly. They are right! After many attempts I just wired it, the instructions said to remove the batteries when using it wired. I had to have the batteries installed for it to work. This was installed on my mighty mule E8 opener. There are a couple features I don’t like, you can enter up to 20 numbers before it will stop accepting numbers and lock out the keypad (for 40 seconds) so someone could just enter numbers until they guessed the 4 correct ones. The keypad stays active for 40 seconds after entering the correct combo. I probably would buy again it I had to , but would try to find a better one if I could, mostly because it would not work wirelessy

This is working flawlessly. I had difficulty changing the code to my number. It took several tries and finally it took the code.

I installed this within 400 of the base and had terrible transmission, was unable to hear anyone at the unit. While looking for some sort of antenna boost or larger antenna I tried a 2 length of 8 gauge copper wire, coiled. Placing this on the existing antenna made it clear as day, working probably like its intended.
