I bought my house with this remote gate opener installed- the house was only 5 years old and the previous owner said it hadnt worked in years. She also warned me that shed already had to replace the gate opener arm and the circuit board that controls. I bought another keypad 7 years ago- it worked well for about 3 years, then started to have intermittent issues where it would not open the gate some of the time. Guests often needed help getting in, then it finally quit working. The technical support people know their products very well, but it takes at least 20 minutes and often 45 minutes to get through to them. Every time Ive called over the years their message says theyre experiencing unusually high call volumes. There is no option to ask for a call back. I just recently gave up and bought another keypad because Im thinking of renting out my house. I expect more than a 3-4 year lifespan for keypads that cost nearly $50. I am also on my third gate opener arm (even though I have purchased models rated for much heavier gates), have gone through dozens of $30 batteries, and just replaced the magnetic sensor (the wire was completely corroded even though its sold as OK for direct burial and it was installed inside pvc conduit in dry desert soil). I would not recommend buying ANY Mighty Mule products. Unfortunately, I couldnt find another brand of keyboard thats compatibly with Mighty Mules 318 mHz receiver so Im locked into their brand.

Good durable quality, easy installation and stands up to our very adverse winter weather without a glitch. Would highly recommend this keypad.

The unit works well. The only negative thing is it only allows a 4 digit pass code setting. I bought this to replace my older (25 years) Mighty Mule Wireless Digital Keypad which I had entered more than 4 digit code. So I will have to inform varies people a new code. I could continue to use the old one and send this new one back, probably not. Seems Mighty Mule went backwards on this.

Easy programming. Sleek look with lighted dial. Able to put more than enough personal codes than Ill ever use. Also this model has a lockout feature if the wrong code is entered to many times.

Works ok, I need to replace them every 3-4 years due to the sun eating the buttons.

I used the wireless keypads for a gate opener. I needed 2. The directions were simple but had trouble programming. Finally called # on keypad and zipped right through it. One keypad has better range than the other and the weaker one is slightly intermittent. Wondering about longer antenna on control box. Overall happy with product.
