> 24 hourI use these to add extra power connections on a 2.5amp 12 VDC power cube so it can drive my CCDTV cameras. At 500 milliamp draw I can add 3 additional power connections to the power cube and still have a 500 milliamp safety factor. Driving 4 cameras per cube. Well made and easy to hook up.

> 24 hourI ordered this thinking the wire would be 18 AWG but I doubt it is. Forget about the wire being what is stated but the connectors dont fit even their own Male to female. I wonder if they ever have tested or tried their own products. If you force the connectors together then you need to be a superman to take them apart. It is too much hassle for me to return so this goes straight in garbage.

> 24 hourQuality of these cables are on point! What really impressed me was the weight of the package when it arrived. I could tell right away it was quality when I removed the first wirelead from the bag. The wires inside were meaty. I’m not talking about four strands of copper thinner than a human hair. I’m talking about a braid of copper you can actually tin! This is definitely going on my save to buy again list. Thank you!

> 24 hourFound these at a good price and needed some decent quality DC 5.5x2.1 connectors for the things I work on (Lithium Ion, Lipo, LiFeP04 batteries, COB LED’s, Power Supplies, Fans, Power Banks, etc) and at first I was satisfied with the set. The adapters are handy but the terminal block is just of average quality. Only had one that didn’t work. I rarely used the male and female DC connectors but after a year I’ve begun to notice a pattern. Now that I’ve used half of them it seems like 50% of the male DC barrel plugs don’t have a connection to the ground. More than once I’ve added one to a project and when I’ve tested it I get nothing from that connector. I check continuity and the positive side instantly beeps but the negative side shows OL or sometimes some extremely high Ohm readings sporadically. I was about to hand off a 70W COB LED panel with an A123 12V 20Ah battery to my mom for a camping trip when I realised I hadn’t tested that part of the circuit (it’s wired straight to the battery as an auxiliary input/output since my parents don’t even know what an XT60 is. In a pinch they could halfway charge the pack up with a 12V power supply or use the battery to power a 12V device with a barrel jack.) Sure enough another failure. I cut this one open to test the components and the connection between the black wire and the back of the jack look fine but have no continuity. This would be the 4th one I’ve encountered and I’ve used 8-9 at this point. Chop em off and waste some quality 3:1 heat shrink I had used along with the time I spent soldering this to the silicone cable coming off the battery. Now I know to test these before putting them on and I’ll also be testing all of the unused ones I have as they are right now since I should be able to find the failures. QC fail. I’ll look past a piece or two in a kit like this but one of the components has a 50% failure rate and that’s unacceptable. Classic You Get What You Pay For. Guess I’ll buy something more expensive from a name brand manufacturer off Digi Key for the rare occasion I need to use these to accommodate the boomer generation.

> 24 hourThese quick disconnect plugs/wires are used everywhere so they fit a lot of items I already own. I would definitely purchase these again if I run out of them.
