Put in shower for Mom. She likes it.

Although the illustrated directions for installation are included, the screw pattern does NOT allow you to get all four screws on the width of a stud. They simply dont align with the reality. I got 3 screws in both top and bottom but the illustration doesnt match with actual measurements. It looks good and I hope that it will stay in place with the three screws in each end.

Im an older lady and had this installed on the wall outside my shower door. Its sturdy and very nice looking. I especially like the peened surface--makes it easy to grab with a wet hand. Recommend.

Installed just outside of a walk in shower. To give a bit of stability on both entrance and exit Good match to grab bars already in the shower

We installed this in the head (bathroom) of our boat. It’s made a huge difference climbing out of the shower. Easy to install & super sturdy.

I have fallen twice, and now I have to use old-folks remedies. This isn’t the prettiest grab-bar on the internet, but it is very strong, supporting my weight (235lb) easily. One of my falls set off my Apple Watch, so this bar is a necessity. The bar comes with two longish wood screws per connection. My wife had me use three, so I figure it will last as long as the wall now.

First, you must locate two studs to install securely and for safety. If you cannot locate then hire a professional. After locating the studs, i applied masking tape on the wall so I could layout the holes. Unit is 18 inches but studs were 12 in apart, so I installed at an angle. You can install vertically if desired onto one stud. I have tile, so I patiently but firmly drilled holes big enough that the screw would fit through because I did not want to crack the tile when tightening.i drilled six holes, stopping after each one to check the next hole location before drilling the next. My rating is 4 stars because the polished brass color is close to a 14k gold color. It does not look bad, but the color is not the same as the polished brass fixtures throughout the bath.

Nice product works as intended assisting in the shower for balance and safety and at the toilet at well. Should be properly installed to be assisting someone
