> 3 dayGrab bar looks good and is sturdy. Bar comes with six 2 long screws and instructions recommend using a 1/8 drill bit for pilot holes. I did that initially and it was almost impossible for me to drive these long screws the final 1/2 or so into ~20 year old pine studs. I do recommend the product, but I also recommend EITHER using a 9/64 drill bit for the pilot holes OR buying 1-1/2 or shorter replacement screws from your favorite hardware store.

> 3 dayThe bar has ridges for gripping. Used toggle bolts for attaching to porcelain tile. Drilling through porcelain required diamond drills, high speed drills Hours of work required. Recommend professional install. Was unable to find one because this was porcelain tile not ceramic.

> 3 dayMy husband easily installed this grab bar for me after I suffered a serious knee injury. By placing it on the diagonal, he was able to deliberately hit two studs. Its very, very study. If you look at the shadow in the picture, you can see the grips. I dont know that they are necessary, but I like them.

> 3 dayDoes just what I want it to. I had it installed by my commode and depend on it due to bad knees. It must be mounted into something substantial (behind my drywall is wood) in order to be effective.
