And yes, as other reviews mentioned it seems like every Moen fixture has a different mounting design. Its solid, but i used my own toggles to mount the 18 inch bar when it arrived.

As many have stated the towel bar and ends themselves are very nice but the anchors are garbage. Unfortunately, I did not take the advice and use the included anchors for the initial installation. After hanging one bath sheet, the bar ripped out of the wall. Loved the look for the few hours that the bar hung on the wall.

Pro Fit mounting system is terrible. Shame, because otherwise it is a nice product.

...hard to get excited about a towel bar. It works. Its pretty. It goes with all of the other Eva fixtures I got for the bathroom. If you compare the color of this, though, to the color of the other brushed nickel Eva fixtures, youll see its more silver... more of a stainless hue. Thats what I was expecting, but its a tad bronzier in color. Worth getting to match your other fixtures.

This towel bar looks great and I bought one due to matching the ones that came with our new home. A tip on installation: Im not sure if its just my not getting the teeth on the molly fastener to bite into the drywall sufficiently, but once I popped on the bar and metal ends onto the black plastic mounting posts, the found they were unacceptably prone to wiggling/rotating. Unsatisfied with this, I used a screwdriver to depress the black plastic tabs to pop the bar and ends back off the mounting posts. Luckily there are two holes to each side of the molly bolt in the fastener that were just the right size for some 3/4 wood screws I had handy (so four total). Adding these eliminated the wiggle entirely and now the towel bar feels rock-solid. Id recommend just adding these extra screws on the outset to save yourself the hassle of having to pop the bar off the posts to add later.

Read the other reviews. The installation is a nightmare. The video above does not show the right installation brackets. The instructions in the box dont match what you get. If you really want to have some fun call Moen and ask them for the installation instruction video. There is none. Its their NEW and IMPROVED design a piece of plastic that does not engage properly after you figure it out. I now have two holes in the wall and a towel bar with two screws and two pieces of plactic egaged that wont come out. Im out $35 POOR QUALITY never again I told MOEN this when I called them

Just received my 24-inch Eva towel bar, and Im very excited that the shape matches my Price Pfister Santiago faucets perfectly. I thought our new faucets were a rather hard-to-match shape, so I ordered the Eva fixtures for their clean lines. I thought that if they didnt match, at least they wouldnt offend. It was worth a try. Well, to my surprise, these fixtures have the same subtly wavy shape as the faucets! The pictures really dont convey the shape accurately. I can see someone being surprised and disappointed by this discrepancy, but, in my case, Im thrilled.

Stepped out of the shower this morning, grabbed for my towel and the bar fell to the floor. The plastic mounting plate that holds the bar support was completely fractured. The towel bar is not in a position where it can be bumped , leaned on, or otherwise stressed. I think that perhaps a contributing factor was the installer over tightening the screw that holds the plate to the wall. HOWEVER: Not so long ago, the mounting system consisted of a sturdy stamped METAL plate screwed to the wall. The bar support end was attached to the plate with a simple, small setscrew. This method almost NEVER FAILED! I cannot think of a reason, other than corporate greed, why MOEN decided to save perhaps a penny incorporating that substandard plastic plate. In closing, as an extremely disappointed retired engineer, may I quote: Ya caint make a silk purse out of a sows ear! SHAME ON YOU MOEN!

Looks good and matches the Moen faucet in the bathroom. Did I mention it is a Moen?
