Moen YB2824CH Eva Collection 24-Inch-Towel Bar, 24 Inch, Chrome

This towel bar is attractive. It helps our bathroom to look more upscale than it is. The mounting brackets are plastic with a thin tab that retains the towel bar. I’m concerned that the bar may become loose over time. Perhaps not that much time. The bar itself is rather sturdy. It’s a shame that the manufacturer cheaped out on the mounting brackets. Likely would not but again.

Great looking tower bar at a nice price. We bought these to match the ones that were already in our bathrooms because we wanted more places to hang towels. There are only two reasons Im giving this four stars instead of five: 1) The horizontal bar does tend to wiggle a little between the side supports. I dont think this is a factor of how I mounted it (I mounted about four of these and they all did the same thing), its just the way the item is constructed. 2) As other reviewers have suggested, youre better off tossing the mounting screws that come with this and using some better hardware. I agree with the reviewer who suggested the E-Z Ancor drywall anchors (available on Amazon and the big-name hardware stores), and Ill add that I have also had good success with Cobra anchors (some of which are rated for up to 100 lbs -- but that would be some darn heavy towels!). Unfortunately, even with a good drywall anchor, two of the four towel bars I installed still had a little wiggle at the mount -- not between the mount and the wall, but between the feet of the towel bar and the mounting plates you install beneath them. Fortunately the wiggling doesnt seem to affect their sturdiness or weight capacity. All in all, this is one of those items that, in my opinion, looks more expensive than it is. And thats always a good thing.

Easy to install looks great

Bar itself looks good, but the mounting method is no good. One of the plastic tabs broke off after a few years and the bar just fell onto my tile floor. Re-mounted with a replacement piece from Moen and it months later the bar fell again. Im now looking for a new towel bar with a different mounting method.

Received them as the delivery date stated. Very nice towel bar with easy to install hardware for them. I did have a problem with one of the ends not wanting to click on. Ended up taking it all off and doing it over. A pain since it damaged the drywall and had to be repaired before I could remount it again. The other ones worked like a charm though. The finish on them is also very nice.

Not the sellers fault. Needed it to match my stuff.

These are very sleek, pretty towel bars by Moen. The quality is great, what I would expect of Moen. They are very easy to install. They are the perfect addition to match the brushed nickel fixtures I already have in my bathroom. Very elegant, sleek and pretty to look at.

Beautiful oil rubbed bronze finish on this towel bar. This towel bar mounts with the standard Moen system where you put an anchor in the wall, then screw a round plastic mounting disc to that anchor. Once both round plastic mounting discs are firmly screwed to the wall anchors, you press the entire towel bar assembly onto those two mounting discs until both ends of the towel bar lock in place with a satisfying click. A very simple and intuitive system that is very secure even when mounted in drywall only. Highly recommend!

Beautiful towel rack. Very easy to install. Great addition to my bathroom.

I really like the simple classic design of this towel bar. The product is good quality. Most important to me was that the bar was NOT made of plastic, as some towel bars are. I used this size at my sink to hold a hand towel and a wash cloth. (Perfect size for two hand towels)
