The sound is not as good as high quality cables. For someone new to the game you would not notice a difference.

When I first started using this cable I noticed a buzzing whenever I moved the cable a certain way. After inspecting it I noticed the shielding cable was not affixed properly to the 1/4 connector contact. I ended up bending the shielding wire under the contact crimp because there wasnt a good place to solder it, which was probably why it came loose to begin with. Other than that, I am happy with the cable and the fix was simple enough. The sound quality is clear and the cable doesnt twist like some cheaper ones might.

I ordered 2 of these to use as a stereo pair in my video cam rig. Got to the gig one night, opened both cables and one of them didnt work! I checked my connections and weeded out the bad cable. The other one works fine, but need 2 on most jobs! Im having to make do with my old cables and DI tubes to pad my signals......Although this cable doesnt pad the signal, the xlr, doubles as a 1/4-xlr converter cable that my cam uses on the inputs. I packed the bad cable back up, and its sitting here on my work table! I requested assistance awhile back to exchange the bad cable for a new one, but havent heard ANYTHING from this company OR Amazon! Thus the 2-star rating........ Order at your own risk!

I’ve had much success with these cords. Started with 1 and ended up buying 3 more. Love the feel and it cut out all of the hum and interference I had prior. I connected them to my JBL 8’s and Avantone Mixcubes. Couldn’t be happier.
