Greater than one weekVery nice knife very sharp. It was advertised with a ground back bone for striking a farro rod, the grind has rounded edges so it will not spark the Farro rod as needed.

> 3 dayThis is a great blade, do your homework with Morakniv and you will see read this is what they do, high-quality steel blade, razor sharp out of the box. My wife and I have a Spyderco and Benchmade as our EDC, this knife is for everything else. Was so impressed with the quality I picked up a second one for my wifes backpack. For the price, hands down this blade is fantastic! Strongly recommend this blade!

> 3 dayThe mora companion is an awesome light weight knife that won’t leave you hanging. I have never nor have I ever, know any person who purchased a mora that wouldn’t say the knives come sharp and perform flawlessly. It can be argued that the knives may fail if used for a pry bar, chisel, screwdriver, log splitter etc. I personally have never owned a knife that actually performed all knife related tasks well that would 100 percent hold up to those “non-knife” tasks that I mentioned. I do however own some knifes that will do all of those.non knife things the problem is that they don’t do any of them well nor do they do a single thing a normal knife should be able to do well either. The blades end up being to thick to slice. They are very heavy. The profile of the blades don’t lend themselves to sharpening nor do the super steels that they are made from. Short answer is that if you intend to use a Mora Companion like a knife should be used, You will find that they outperform just about every competition no matter what they cost.

> 3 dayUsed around the house for a few days worked well at every task. Took it into the woods for a 2 night overnight hike. I am impressed. Took my ESSE 5 also, but hardly used it. This little knife is a beast. I also bought the carbon steel one for half the price. Cannot wait to try that one out too, but for the price i dont think either can be beat.

> 3 dayBuen cuchillo, ergonómico, hoja ancha, corta como un bisturí, equilibrado y no pesas mucho. Yo lo uso para la cocina y hasta corto carne congelada para carpaccio con relativa facilidad. La única pega es que no haya otro más largo con esas características. Un cuchillo estupendo y más por ese precio.

Greater than one weekI ordered this along with the Morakniv Eldris. I expected a wonderful knife, considering the rating and reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. Great quality. I thought the rating was in consideration of the price, but no, the knife fits greatly into your hand, there’s no ‘cheap’ feeling to this knife, the sheath is perfect along with the knife, the steel feels amazing, the handle feels great along with its texture, and the knife came noticeably sharper than the ‘razor sharp Eldris’. This seems like a great ‘Companion’, and will pretty much do everything you’d expect a high quality knife to do - it’s stainless as well, and the sheath has a drainage hole. A good knife, weither or not you would ever use it by the water, but it would handle dirty jobs, should you ever end up needing a knife for that.

> 3 dayKinda junk. I dont understand what all the ranting and raving is about. The scandi grind? Spend the extra few bucks and get a Cold Steel Outdoorsman Lite! Soooo much better quality for what your paying for. Plus it has a 6in blade and its full tang, with the tang exposed out the bottom of the handle. Im gonna beat the snot out of this mora and write another review.
