Id rate this 4.5 out of 5 stars. Blade has held up pretty well to various tasks so far. I havent used it for survival situations yet. But cutting up meat and veggies, opening boxes, and various other cutting and the blade has held its edge pretty well. I just run it over a 4000 grit stone a few times after every 2 or 3 uses and its still sharp enough to shave.

This thing is a beast and at this price point absolutely cannot be beat. Super sharp blade right out of the box. The sheath holds it in well. Its easy to connect on a belt/pants but still stays in place and doesnt let the knife out. The construction is super sturdy. I had read that its 3/4 tang and thus shouldnt be used for batoning, but I had to use it for that the other day it worked just fine. The thing is a tank, I think youd have to be batoning rocks or something to damage it. The blade has a nice gloss too and so far has held that finish really well. Just a great camping knife to have around at an unbeatable price point.

Weighing in at about 4 oz, this is a great bush-knife that is incredibly sharp. I bought this after having seen a review of Mora knives in Backpacker Magazine. After a little research, and after having read so many solidly positive reviews, I had to try one for myself. And the price is so cheap, that I didnt mind dropping less than $15 on a knife that may not meet my expectations. Luckily, this knife not only MET my expectations, but far exceeded it. Light. Exceptionaly sharp. Ergonomically well-built. A great knife to toss in the backpack.

I love the Companion series of knives. I already had the carbon steel version and had to get the stainless when it was on sale. These come SHARP, so be careful. Great weight and very efficient. You cant beat a Mora for the price!

I like this knife. It’s not perfect or pretty. But it’s a durable little knife that I would trust to have in my camping/hiking/fishing bags. It’s a no frills, do what it needs to do, trustworthy knife. Every outdoorsy person should have a few.

Really good for overall knife. Amazing value. I had a Kershaw but it rusted and was not durable. This is a nice knife for overall. Bigger than it looks though

What a great little knife. It will pretty much do anything from processing kindling for fires to skinning and preparing small game and fish. Very sharp out of box, ultra light weight, simple and functional sheath with good knife retention. Comfortable grippy handle, probably the most comfortable handle of any of the knives I own. Good quality steel blade with a classic scandi grind. The 4 blade is the perfect size for doing most all of your small camp task. Combine this knife with a good folding saw, a larger survival knife (or an axe or hatchet) and youll have a good tool system for camping, hiking, hunting and bushcraft. Im not a survivalist or bushcrafter, Im just a hunter, fisherman, backpacker, camper and general outdoorsman who appreciates a good quality all purpose knife at a reasonable price.
