This wall mount came with a nice piece of stock paper to drill pilot holes. It also came with a small level that could stick to the stock paper and the stock paper had a couple self adhesive strips to stick to the wall. I marked the spots on my wall where the studs were and applied the stock paper to the wall. Double checked the alignment with the studs and used the level on the paper to make it level and drilled the holes. Then I used my impact driver to screw in the mounting bracket. Double checked the alignment with the included small magnetic level and it was good. The screws that were included for mounting the tv brackets to my tv (an old 42 plasma) fit just fine. I was able to put the tv on the wall mount with only one small issue. The backplate where the tv brackets hook on hits the power plug on my tv. I took off one star for that, but it would really be just half a star if I could. I also think its an issue with Panasonic, at the time, using very large plugs on the back of their tvs. I could move the tv higher and alleviate the plug from hitting the bracket but then I would be able to see the tv brackets at the bottom of the tv. I usually buy tv wall mounts from another site, but thought Id give this one a shot because shipping should be faster and Im glad I did (not because of the shipping). This is a nice wall mount and Id definitely put Mounting Dream as something to consider if I needed another tv wall mount. On a side note - Amazon failed to deliver the wall mount by the guaranteed delivery date and could care less when I contacted them to tell them it was passed the delivery date. Amazon shouldnt put guaranteed delivery dates on their site if they dont stand by it. Shame on Amazon for misleading me and other consumers.

Used to install my new Samsung 43 inch 4K TV which only weighs about 20 pounds. Mine is an older house with 16 inch stud spacing so it is fully compatible. The TV has 200mm Vesa mounting holes spacing so the mount allows adjustment of the TV about 4 either side of center on the mount in addition to the side to side adjustment of the articulated TV mounting arms. The mount allows a wide range of TV angle adjustments which allows me to adjust the TV to not show reflections from the large window in the living room it is in. Lots of hardware furnished so the mounting of the TV is pretty universal. The Samsung uses the largest bolts to install the mounting brackets, 8mm x 40mm as I recall. The only problem I had was getting the bolts to not want to cross thread in the mounting holes in the TV and I am not sure if the problem was the TV or the provided mounting bolts but their installation was quite fiddly and took some time as I was careful to not force things.

I just mounted this today. I really agonized over which one of these models to get. I have a LG 50PS80FD 50 plasma TV that weighs 75 lbs without the stand. Thats a heavy tv for an arm mount. Heres what I liked about this unit: 1. Good fakespot score. Some of these units have a lot of fake reviews. This one was good. 2. Comes basically assembled. Just four pieces including the two mounting bars that go on the back of the TV. Mine required Vesa 400x400. 3. There are about 10 different size sets of four mounting screws, washers and spacers. Lucky for me since my TV had recessed holes requiring spacers. The extra screws gave me the length I needed since the original screws would not have fit with the spacers. 4. The mounting bars go on the TV first and then you can hang the TV on the mount using the hooks. This is important with a heavy TV. You dont have try and hold the TV in place while trying to mess with mounting screws. There are two screws on the wall mount side to stabilize the TV and lock it in place. These can be tightened once the TV is hanging on the mount. 5. The mounting template comes with tape and a small bubble level. It makes it really easy to fix on the wall once you locate your studs. 6. Hex head wall bolts that allow you to use a ratchet wrench to tighten the bolts into the wall. Much easier than using a screw driver. 7. I thought the instructions were very clear and helpful. I did not have to use the leveling mechanism, but there is one to help you level the TV after the wall mount is bolted to the wall. All in all, it was exactly what I needed.

First let me say that I purchase ALOT on Amazon. But it is rare that I write a review. I just bought this wall mount TV bracket to hang a 49 TV in my room. I have never wall-mounted a TV before and was a little concerned that I would run into problems and end up having to repair some sheet-rock. This company deserves an award for everything that they give you with this TV mounting kit. They provide several sets of screws, washers, spacers to make certain that this kit will work for you. It also comes with a small (around 5) bubble level and a tiny (around 1 - 1 1/2) bubble level that you stick on to a paper mounting template that they provide. This kit is nearly idiot-proof. After following their instructions, I have a TV that is solidly mounted and required no further adjustments to level it on the wall. Kudos to this company for such a well designed product and giving the consumer more parts than they will actually need in order to make certain that the product will work for the vast majority of users.

This product deserves 5 stars just for providing instructions in English, a rarity these days. Other than that, the mount itself is super heavy, an indication of its sturdy build. I was able to mount my TV myself in under two hours. Well, it should have taken way less than that as I didnt have a socket wrench to tighten the lug nuts. I used an adjustable wrench, which took forever. The 99 lbs rating is also on the conservative side. Its good to know that I can upgrade to a larger 65-inch TV in the future, while retaining the mounting hardware. The pictures you see here are of my TCL 55-inch TV with a Vizio soundbar. I have seen some reviews which say that the mount didnt work and TV fell off the wall, even with the pictures attached. Honestly, I cant think of why this would happen unless because of user error -- not mounting on a stud, using wider drill bit than recommended, etc.,

Very sturdy and comes with all the screws you need. It would be perfect if the arms didnt buckle when pulling the tv all the way out. At first the arms are very stiff but after a while it loosen or you can loosen the bolt

First off, Ive bought a number of wall mounts for TVs over the years and this is the best one Ive purchased so far. It has full range of motion (pulls out from the wall, tilts up and down, and pans left and right). Second, all the items included in the package are enough for just about anyone to mount any TV (minus those proprietary non-VESA TVs). The package includes not only the screws, spacers, washers, and mount but also Allen wrench, TWO bubble leveling items, a template you can temporarily adhere to the wall for proper hole drilling, velcro cable management tie, HDMI cable, and (something super rare) GOOD instructions. Clearly someone thought this through when they wrote up the instructions because they even let you know what options you have if your house has 24 spaced studs instead of the standard 16 center to center. Alone, it took me about 25 minutes to mount the mount itself (they also let you know what tools you will need that they do not include, like a power drill and hex wrench). It took about 1 minute to lift the TV into place and snap it in. Overall, I am very pleased, as the two leveling tools they give you (one of which adheres to the template itself so you can even get THAT level too before you drill, make planning a cinch. I will definitely buy more of these if I ever need to mount another TV. The packaging was very minimal and the contents were more than I have ever seen in any other mounting kit in this price range.

Again, hard stop - dont bother reading other reviews, or even this one - just buy this. Incredible quality and detail for the price. The included adjustment hardware (spacers, spacing discs, screws, bolts, etc) allow for compatibility with likely any tv, the overall quality of the hardware itself is top notch - cant believe this is only $50, truly.

It is in a small space. It replaced a shelf that was in the way. Very pleased with the purchase.

Great stand, I was only able to mount to one stud, due to my builder doing some weird framing over my fireplace. I used two toggle bolts that could each hold up to 50 lbs. I used two lug bolts (Included) into the stud (Top and Bottom of the left side of mount) and then I did two toggle bolts (1/8”x4”) on the right side top and bottom. It is very sturdy even not being into 2 studs. My only complaint with the stand is the plate the TV mounts onto is just wide enough to hook the TV on. They could definitely make this plate longer so that you could slide your TV left or right to help center, but with my TV 49 it didnt have any room for adjustment. Overall, I would recommend this stand, if it works with your mounting situation. I would recommend finding at least 1 stud, but I dont think having 2 is an absolute must, with the right equipment you can make 1 stud work just as well. With some heavier duty toggle bolts (I saw some that went up to 100 lbs) you could probably mount this only by toggle bolts, but that would make me a little nervous. I have been using this product for about 2 weeks now with no issues. See my pictures for added clarification. Pros: -Sturdy Construction -Telescoping mount -Swivels Left and right -Angles down -Ample Mounting of Supporting Materials (Comes with a replica mounting sheet that you can test on your wall before drilling any holes, as well as bubble level for both the paper [stick on] and for the mount) Cons: -Mounting Plate not large enough to adjust left or right for small centering adjustments (My Tv was at the Max mounting hole width at 16”, if your tv mount holes are closer together than 16” than this might not be a problem, or if your studs are in the right spots to perfectly center, then it also wont be a problem.) -Takes some effort to pull TV out and Push in, there are no springs to help offset tension (Not a huge problem, but worth notating.) -Angling up or down requires loosening and tightening screws in the back (Also not a huge deal, adjust it where you want it one time and then just leave it.) -Recommend having 2 people (I know some can do this by themselves, but it is easier and safer with two, this would probably be the case for most any mounting stand though.)
