> 3 dayI live in Central Texas and this is the lube I use on my chain all year. The only exception being on one of the four days we get a torrential down pour, then I will use muc off wet. This one however is the best! It goes on easy coats and protects the metal, dries fairly dry I do recommend waiting a couple hours before removing the excess and riding just because you get the maximum protection. Dont believe me just watch the YouTube videos out there pitting different bike chain lubes from expensive to super cheap. Those videos even highlight my favorite part. If I follow the instructions exactly and later ride through typical dusty/sandy/dirt of central texas, this lube lets most of that chain wrecking crap fall right back off while still protecting the metal on metal surfaces from wearing away. Seems magical and too good to be true but it works better than anything else I have found. I still clean my chain frequently in dry weather but I have been able to get away with not cleaning every time. The easiest way for me is to touch the chain and feel/listen for junk between the moving parts. Unless you just cleaned it super well you will almost always feel/hear something but this lube doesnt collect as much junk and just as important, with a little dish soap it comes off easily. I also like that its more environmentally friendly. The wet lube however takes twice as long to remove when cleaning. Just make sure you read the instructions and dont forget to shake before applying (otherwise some of the good stuff settles at the bottom of the bottle). I even like the odd coconut banana scent

Greater than one weekFirst bought to try out a new lube. To me, Muc-Off is a decent brand. I still buy other products, just not chain lube anymore... Swapped out to a new chain and decided to run a new lubricant. This was cheap and highly reviewed, so why not? Cleaned factory grease, applied Muc-Off per instructions. Worked it in, reapplied, let dry, and wiped off excess. Same process as my old lube. Cleaned chain and reapplied every 150 miles or so. After several months, noticed chain was wearing faster than old one. Reached the 0.25% wear quicker. Same bike, same riding, same maintenance. I think it stayed sticky and got dirty faster. Im not upset, just wanted to try something and see if it was better. Going back to what worked better. I also bought the wet lube for winter time, but not sure if I want to try that now lol

> 3 dayThis is the first dry lube that really does what it says. I Mt. bike exclusively, and ride in the dry California climate from central CA to Tahoe and often do 25mi + rides. This is the first Dry lube that can keep my chain smooth and quiet for an entire long ride. My chain stays very clean and so do all the drive components, very nice. Give this stuff a try on your next chain if youre tired of dust collecting greasy black chains.

> 3 dayDrivetrain runs very quiet and smoothly with this lube. The lube keeps my drivetrain decently clean. Photos are from a month of riding, no cleaning except wiping the chain with a cloth before applying lube. This lube also picks up very little grit and sand, perfect for those who ride along the beach or off road. Unfortunately lube needs constant reapplication every 100ish miles or so, or drive chain starts to get noisy.

> 3 dayBeen biking since the early 90s and can honestly say, I have tried almost every bike chain lube out there. I was hooked on Finish Line Dry Lube for a while, then I jumped to Pedros Dry Lube. I was running low and saw the reviews so I decided to give Muc Off a try. Applicator bottle is probably the best one I have used and the lube lasts many rides. Just start with a clean chain, apply lube, wipe off any excess and you will be good to go.

> 3 dayThis lube itself works great, but the bottle it comes in is pretty lousy. I’ve bought 3 so far (I try to keep 1 in my car and one on my work stand) and 2 of them have broken in the exact same place prior to even using it on a bike- the applicator tip is much longer and skinnier than any other chain lube I’ve seen, and snaps off incredibly easily. The first one I ordered snapped off as I was taking it out of the packaging, the second I was more careful with and *so far* has survived a few uses, the third snapped off just from being lightly bumped during the first application. Once the tip breaks off you can’t twist the cap back on for storage nor can you apply the lube correctly. I’ve resorted to buying a small condiment bottle and filling it with the 2 full unused portions I can’t otherwise dispense because of these extremely brittle tips.

> 3 dayIve been through quite a few different lives trying to find the right one. Started with finish line dry lube in both the dropper bottle and aerosol and found it to be OK. Didnt do a good job staying clean. I also tried gold link lube and like it more, but also not great at keeping the chain clean. I then tried finish line 2 in 1 cleaner and lube and but found it to be a messy application. Muc-off has been great for all my needs. Lubes great and stays relatively clean compared to others. This will be my go to for the time being.
