Muc Off Dry Lube (50-ml)

> 3 dayMost of the time spent was on degreasing and cleaning grime off the chain from my wet lube. I used Simple Green and wiped the chain with paper towels until no more black residue came off, which took a long time. Once it goes on it works really well. Chain moves silently and I cant feel any dragging.

> 3 dayI bought Muc Offs Dry Chain Lube because it had so many good online reviews. Both on Amazon and on cycling related websites that I trust. Unfortunately, my experience has not lived up to expectations. Muc Offs Dry Chain Lube is short lasting - it lasts no longer than two weeks. It also attracts more dirt than any other lube Ive used and it smells horrible. Overall a very disappointing purchase.

> 3 dayI ride relatively dry trail conditions. Often humid weather but I stay off wet trails. This dry lube attracts all the dirt in Georgia. Drip it on each roller of a clean chain in a clean drive train. Cycle it a couple times and wipe off well. Let dry for 24 hours or more. Put a few miles on the bike, and the chain, chainring, and pulleys are just covered in gunky dirt. I won’t buy this again.

> 3 dayBought this to use on my indoor trainer bike. Made a big difference in the smoothness of the shifting and made the drive train feel and sound very smooth. The bigger up-side for me was the banana smell (all others Ive used have some harsh chemical smells). So far its held up for almost 100 miles without having to reapply. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayJust got the Muc-Off the other day; applied it to two of my bikes chains. It works fine, maybe a bit globby. But the smell... oy vey. I lubed one bike up, put it in the van to drive 20+ miles, and had to take the bike out and let the van air out afterwards. The smell of this stuff is horrible. Pity that will most likely be the deciding factor of me going back to Finish Line Dry.

> 3 dayExcellent dry weather lube! I applied to my MTB chain after ultrasonically cleaning the chain, Chainring, and casette. Beautifully dry and super clean it does only last about 5-6 hours and disappears at the first sign of water so it’s only on my MTB and TT bike. Road bike still uses boeshield T-9 as I need 200 miles per application. I’ll also state that muc-off has the best applicator in the industry so easy to only hit the rollers.

> 3 dayMy son is a master bike tech and recommended this. The other major brand I was using was not to good at all. I ride an average of 5-10 miles a day (weather permitting here in Florida) and I clean and lube chain about every 50-60 miles, so about once a week. My current chain has about 1700 miles on it and is still in good shape, but starting to show it is time to replace - (I use a chain gauge tool to measure chain for wear). With other lube I would average only about maybe 1000 miles and the chain was totally toast. I only use good SDK or Shimano chain and this lube works!
