I like this better than the finish line I was using. It has a sort of opaque or foamy look to it so you can actually see what its doing and it hangs on to the chain pretty well. End result cleaner and less waste.

I am a cyclist that puts in 3500 to 5000 miles a year. I can honestly say that this is the best lube I have ever used for dry conditions like Southern California. I typically go anywhere from 100 to 250 miles between cleanings, but I noticed that my drivetrain has remained clean despite hitting 300 to 350 miles. It also doesnt retain a build-up of waxes like the wax-based lubes and the bottle design makes application a very clean process. Great product and will probably be a life-time customer on this lube.

I’ve been using this lube for over 2 years. I am in SoCal and it is perfect for where I ride.

Bought it after seeing the YouTube test where it beat out other lubes Ive used throughout many years of mtb, road and BMX. It smells great making it a nice lube for indoor maintenance. It applies easily, but Im not sure if it is thin enough for ideal coating and penetration. I use it on my 1x12 MTB, and I clean and reapply immediately after every ride. It doesnt collect too much dirt, but I do notice a fair amount of buildup on the derailleur jockey wheels. The drivetrain is very smooth and quiet in the middle to upper gears, but I notice a lot more noise and chain popping than wet lubes when my bike is in the lowest gear and the cross chaining effect is most severe. I also notice slightly more resistance than wet lubes when it dries and I hand peddle my drivetrain backwards. Honestly, Ive never been a huge fan of wax lubes since one completely seized a chain on my motocrosser and I had to use WD40 to make the bike rideable again. Overall, it didnt really live up to the hype and I think some of the lower priced alternatives are more effective for my use.

Something “veggie” about this, not the usual greasy/grimy stuff we’ve been dropping on our chains since time immemorial. I like it, it works well in action and can be applied while indoors.

I used the Dry Lube after chain cleaning with the Muc Off Degreaser, washing with plain water and drying. Both products made a great difference on the bikes performance in changing gears and getting rid of chain/gear noise and chain jumping off. Both products saved me from having to tune my rear 1 x 7 derailleur. No chain noise and gear changing problems any longer.

Ok, my bad for falling for what I thought was an excellent independent YouTube test/review of this product. I actually thought Id discovered something that I needed to give a try. It took 2 rides to convince me that the characteristics of this product do not meet the requirements I expect, specifically those of the chain lube that has served me well for the last 20 years or so. Ive been riding MTBs since 1986, sometimes in the absolute worst conditions and I know what to expect from a chain lube. My reason for throwing this in the rainy day box of poor-performing bike bits is its rapid build-up, specifically around my derailleur pulleys. My process: once the lube is applied (not excessively) for a minimum of one chain revolution maybe two, I run the chain through a cloth to remove any excess lube and then do the same to the teeth and sides of both pulleys with the cloth sandwiched between my fingers. Been doing it this way forever, it works. The next ride I re-applied the Muc Off, ran the chain through the cloth as usual, and noticed the residue was a good deal more than expected. I then hit the pulleys with the cloth, where a bunch of residual build-up from the previous days application came off on the cloth with some of the bits falling onto the garage floor. No bueno. I then proceeded to dig the rest out of where it just doesnt belong. Pulleys are meant to run freely, not caked in-between the sides of the derailleur cage. Sorry guys, this stuffs just not for me. Maybe on that rainy day though...
