Muc Off Dry Lube (50-ml)

I live in south Georgia near the Florida Line and ride rough Red Clay roads. I clean my chain with Simple Green and a Park cyclone chain cleaner every other ride. Once every couple of months when I am motivated, I remove the chain and ultrasonically clean it. My usual routes are between 26 and 60 miles and I ride three times a week, often at night. I ride a 1x Gravel bike with a SRAM Force 1 system. My drivetrain gets lots of dirt and muck. The roads can be dry and dusty with 4 of sugar sand , or deep with sticky red mud. The red clay roads often have patches of dry sand interspersed with deep muck. This makes for a challenge for lube selection. Ive used a number of commercially available products, but have liked the Muc Off Dry lube the best. Usually, the roads are dry, but the weather is quite humid. The muc-off dry lube stays clean and the drive train sings in this instance. if a mild to moderate amount of mud is encountered on the ride, the drivetrain sheds the mud well and does well with the dry lube. Sometimes the only clean area on my bike at the end of a ride like this is the drivetrain. For especially muddy days, riding through pedal deep water, or rides soon after a downpour, I will use the wet lube version with good results. The lube on the drivetrain doesnt look very clean after about 20 miles, but still keeps things humming along when things are truly soupy. I tried Muc-Off this spring after struggling with other brands failing during rides and have become a repeat customer.

Flows nicely into the chain links of my bikes, but dries nicely so it wont gather dust or dirt.

Used it on my ebike, works as advertised, no need to wipe, chain looks like new and quiet.

The product itself is great. Keeps the chain clean and working as intended. How,ever I have bought two of these and neither came with a lid. When the bottle knocks over half the lube ends up spilling out. Very frustrating.

Don’t drop it it works great but if you do the tip will break

I needed to add this about every 2 hours of riding to keep my bike from creaking. It builds up grime like no other lube Ive used. I had to scrape it off my drive train all the time.

Gummed up my chain. Very difficult to clean. Went back to my old stuff and there was a noticable amount of free spin and quietness of the chain. Will not buy again.
