My cats prefer fresh water, but arent so picky that I need a fountain. I wanted something that would be raised, not too large, heavy enough to not slide around, and could be washed in the dishwasher as needed. This bowl is perfect for my two cats. On warm days it holds enough water to last my cats a full 24hr day, but I refresh water morning and night at feeding times, anyway. I already owned one of the Neochi food bowls, so this was a no-brainer. These products are durable, attractive, and most importantly - good for the kitties. Raised bowls are more comfortable for them to eat and drink from, and the shallow food dishes prevent whisker fatigue. They go through the dishwasher wonderfully, which makes keeping a clean and sanitary food/water system simple. Im a big fan of all their products. I have two food dishes, a double tray, this water dish, and a single tray for the water dish. Ive had them for months now, and the first food bowl for over a year - you cannot tell which ones came first. They still look brand new. They are 100% worth the cost.

Well-made, easy to clean raised water bowl. An excellent choice.

We have several Necoichi bowls now. The cats like them all. I cant say that having elevated food and water bowls has cut down the vomiting one of them does, nor has it magically stopped the other from sticking his paw in the water and flicking water around the room. But theyre nice sturdy, attractive bowls I recommend (always good to find ceramics not glazed with lead). I just wish this company would have put drainage holes in the bottom stand because its gross to open the dishwasher and find a half cup of foul-looking water collected in the inverted base. I always wind up hand washing again after that, not just the bowl but whatever dishes the water sloshed on while I was getting out the bowl.

I ended up buying all 3 in the series (water, food, and treats). Theyre all made so well and heavy enough so they dont wander around the floor (you know how bowls like to walk at night). I felt like the water bowl just didnt hold enough water. I only have one cat, but I like to keep out lots of water just in case I find myself kidnapped by an evil villain. At least while Im bound up I can think At least my cat has enough water until someone realizes Im missing. So I used his old ceramic water bowl for water. Now, this actually was fortunate, because I found that the food bowl just wasnt big enough (yeah, I have size issues). Oh, it held the food just fine, its just my cat eats wet food and has no teeth (I would get him dentures, but Im afraid hed lose them). So the food just slipped out of the bowl so easily and all over the side and floor. Ugh, what a freakin mess. But, in comes the water bowl for the rescue (but not to free me from the lair). It turns out that the water bowl was purrfect (sorry, it had to be done) for the food. So now I use the water bowl for wet food, the food bowl for dry food (since I dont give him a lot of that) and the treat bowl for treats (major surprise there). It all works out just fine. The 3 bowls are all in harmony now and are working out great in their new functions. And what does the cat think of all of this? Not a thing. The cat doesnt care where you put the stuff, just put it out. Oh, I took photos of the bowls (hey, Im a single guy with a cat, what else is there to do?). The treat bowl has 15 treats, the food bowl has a 1/4 cup of dry food, and the water bowl has 5.5 oz of wet food.

One of our cats passed away this year of cancer, and being not only a large cat but a very sick cat, his head and long cheek hair were hanging in the water when he was feeling at his worst. I do wish I had found this sooner. Now that we have a second cat that is ill of kidney disease, and also a large cat, I am so grateful that he wont have to strain. Our younger cat (completely fit) who is extremely small right now, also has no trouble using it. I definitely appreciate the measurements in that I will be able to keep track of water intake when that will be needed. In addition to the double tier water fountain we bought, our big cat should stay as hydrated as he needs in addition to his Kidney Diet prescription food. Washed beautifully in the top rack of the dishwasher and should last for years. Not thin or junky. We bought the food bowl (smaller but about the same height) as well so our big guy can also eat in comfort.

I was on the search for a water bowl that would prevent spillage and condensation. My cat licks the water up the side of the bowl out of habit and it would splash on the mat below constantly, causing mold to grow underneath. The lip on this bowl prevents water splashing out. It is a little pricier than I was looking for, but its worth it so far. Its easy to clean and I like that it is white so I can see if icky stuff is growing. Very pleased and its cute to boot!

Love this product!! My cat needed some new bowls and I previously was using an old stainless bowl. I love the height on this bowl and also the water level lines so I can see when he needs a refill. It’s easy to clean and I also love the rubber band on the bottom to keep it from slipping on the floor. Highly recommend this!!

Whod have thought it but this raised cat dish stopped our cat dropping food outside of her dish. I bought 2 of these - one for water and one (same size) for her wet food. I use a disposable dish inside of the dish for the wet cat food. There is much less mess plus I noticed she now eats all of her food - before she would eat maybe half of her food and leave the rest. I hand wash the bowls in hot water, they come up great. Not paid for this review, just want other pet owners to know these bowls worked for me.

    Greater than one week

It took my cat a couple of days to get use to this bowl. But now she loves it. I love it because it can help me keep track of how much water she is drinking per day so I can see if there are any changes in how much she is drinking. It is beautiful and so easy to keep clean.
