> 24 hourIm so glad I came across this product. We had our floodlight installed and I didnt realize it could only go one direction under our eave. Found this and saw the reviews and decided to buy. So happy I did because now the floodlight doesnt hang too low and looks a lot nicer! Looks like its made from a 3-D print, but it works and seems like it will last. The improvement was worth the money!

> 24 hourI love this so much I wanted to buy two of them even though I only had one camera. Install was easy and fit is secure. I love the entrepreneurial spirit in this mount. Google couldn’t be bothered to engineer this, but this person figured it out. A+

> 24 hourBecause Google thinks that floodlights are only installed on vertical walls they miss the 99% that are installed horizontally under the eaves. This 3D printed bracket takes care of that shortsighted idiocy. Works exactly like it’s supposed to. Unlike some other reviewers, I had no fit issues. This is a great hack. I would encourage you to watch Billy Chan’s YouTube video before starting.

> 24 hourIf you need to mount a Google Nest Floodlight cam under eave, you need this product! It works well, like all the other reviews say. However, like that one review that says it does not fit, that can also be the case. The seller is aware of that issue and posted about it on Reddit. I followed his directions on that post and used my soldering iron to fix the issue. Took me less than two minutes and it then fit perfectly. Hopefully, you will receive a unit form the new batch and not have that issue. If you do, and have a soldering iron available, its really an easy fix. My Google Nest floodlight cam is now mounted correctly under the eave and perfectly secure.

> 24 hourI had an old existing floodlight that needed replacing. Since I already have a few other Nest products (doorbell, thermostat) and was planning on putting a camera on that side of the house anyway, thought getting a Nest floodlight with camera would be a good option. The problem? The old floodlight was on the underside of an overhang. And Google only supports mounting to a vertical wall... After a quick search, I found this product. And it works like a charm. Color matches pretty well with the Nest floodcam. Only real gotcha would be to make sure that the wires are free and clear of the hooks in the back.

> 24 hourThis is exactly what you need if you own a Google nest floodlight and want to attach it to the eave of your house. I purchased the floodlight and was not aware you couldnt attach it vertically without issues. I searched for alternative attachments and found none. I stumbled across this going down a YouTube rabbit hole and found it, apparently the seller does his sells in batches so if you get a notification that it is back I would jump on it. Aesthetically it looks better and does what its suppose to do, the only downside is you have to play with the wires to make sure they sit right or the base and the mount wont close all the way to attach the security screw.
