> 3 dayIt blows my mind that Google doesn’t have an option for this type of mount. Fortunately someone else decided to fill the gap. There was a little fit issue initially around the security screw fitting but was easy to work around once identified. Definitely recommend a dry fit test on the ground to make it easier on the ladder. Once you get it up there it looks like Google and it’s secure. Can’t ask for more! Great work!

Greater than one weekWhy Google did not make one is beyond me, but lets thank the creator of this product. Its not perfect aesthetically due the 3D printer used, but it does the job. Installation is easy, and it secures the floodlight camera well.

> 3 dayThis is a simple, yet excellent way to fix the short coming design of the Nest Camera with floodlight, in regards to eave mounting. Not much to say other than it allows you to install your Nest camera in its upright position, so the motion sensor works better, and the microphone/speaker is not left facing up, leaving it exposed to water intrusion. It is well designed and fits perfectly all the other Nest components. I have purchased 2 of these. Too soon to see how it withstands the pass of time, but no complaint after a couple of months

> 3 dayInstalled like a breeze. The nest cam floodlight fits snug and secure. Looks good. If Google ever decides to build a horizontal/ceiling mount adapter themselves, I hope they make it as good as this. Great work!

> 3 dayGoogle should pay this guy a lot of money for elegantly and functionally solving their own problem they introduced to millions of Google Nest homeowners. Most existing floodlights are installed under eaves/soffits, so I have no idea why Google didn’t think of this and provide a solution itself. After I bought the floodlight camera and realized they have no option for mounting under an eave, I almost returned the camera but then I came across this item on a Reddit post. Massive thanks and respect for the guy that designed and 3D-printed this mount.
