Nest Floodlight Eave Mount, White (MF001)

Worked perfectly for mounting under my eaves. Print had no alignment issue with the security set screw. Would gladly buy again if I needed another one.

Great product, you could make it even better if you test on different kind of cases. I had to loosen front screws because is slightly too short. Much easier is in the corners but 1/4 inch is kind of missing to secure it properly to the base.

Nothing else like this on the market. Incredibly well thought out. Great product!

After purchasing the Nest camera I struggled with how I would mount this to the Eave. I researched and found this. Great way to fill a need and works great for minimal cost! I would suggest doing a more professional install video as you stumble a little as you go thru the install. Just an idea.

Google should pay this guy a lot of money for elegantly and functionally solving their own problem they introduced to millions of Google Nest homeowners. Most existing floodlights are installed under eaves/soffits, so I have no idea why Google didn’t think of this and provide a solution itself. After I bought the floodlight camera and realized they have no option for mounting under an eave, I almost returned the camera but then I came across this item on a Reddit post. Massive thanks and respect for the guy that designed and 3D-printed this mount.

This allowed me to vertically install my Google nest floodlight. The only reason I left one star off is because this mount does not have a place where the S hook can be latched unto. The S hook does have a place on the original Google nest mount but not on this one. This made the wiring a lot harder for me during the installation. But this is just a small thing. Otherwise its a good product and even included the screws you will be needing for your floodlight to be mounted correctly.
