The bowl is made of a solid and pretty thick plastic, the little half lid is an accurate and adorable color and while it is a little bigger than I expected it does the job perfectly as a sand bath for my syrian hamster. if anything i appreciate how large it is.

This is a great hamster sand bath! Its a decent size for hamsters to roll around and and it comes with a lid that covers half of the bowl. Its too big if you have a beginners cage, but if you have a cage thats about 40in in length and 13in in width and depth, its the perfect size plus more room for your hamster.

great size for my syrian ham but she mainly just uses it as a big litter box. It does keep cleaning down and maintains the smell better but if i want her to bath in clean sand i need to take it out and only give it to her in out of cage time

Loveeeeed it!!! It is perfect for my hamster. The only thing is that it’s all scratched up but that’s because the hamster scratches it when she’s digging. The wheel from this brand is also amazing, doesn’t make any noise.

My hamster immediately started playing in this as soon as I filled it with sand. He absolutely loves it. Its not too hard to clean as long as hammy doesnt pee too much in it. And the lid doesnt perfectly fit on it... kind of have to bend or move the bottom part for the top to sit securely on it. Otherwise love this product.

I have 2 separeted Sryian hamsters. Both of them have one. I do not use the cover because Syrians are big. Cover might be good for a dwarf. I put all natural repti sand in it. One hamster uses it as a bathroom. Other likes to walk and sit in it. Easy to wash when it needs it.

Perfect for sandbags and they dont get stuck in it (syrian hamster)

Hamster likes it, great size but still fits on my shelf. Costs more than the little plastic ones but it’s much bigger and looks great.

I also have the rectangle one. I am putting eco earth in that one and sand in this one. If you are on the fence about which one to get, get them all. But I think my Syrian like the corner one the most.

My hamster LOVES this thing. She loves to bath and roll around in it and also use a small area as her bathroom. Makes cleaning the cage a less frequent task and when i do need to clean the cage, it’s super fast and easy because most of it is in the sand bath!
