18-04-2025My hammy loves her sand bath and gets in every time she wakes up. You do have to fill it up pretty high with sand if you have a dwarf hamster just so they are able to climb out. Probably not as much if you have a Syrian. The wooden lid sometimes doesnt stay fitted on just right and so it pops off or slides off a little bit my hamster is so tiny so it doesnt matter much. Still a great sand dish.

Greater than one weekI absolutely adore niteangel! I have the all wooden sand bath and this acrylic sand bath. I definitely recommend getting the acrylic sand bath if your hamster likes to pee in it, as the all wooden one gets kinda gross looking. My hamster loves to dig in the sand so the depth of this sand bath is super great for that!

> 3 dayI really loved this brands wheel, but this just wasnt close to how good the quality of the wheel was. I thought the container was going to be really firm, but the plastic is pretty thin and felt like something I couldve just gotten at the dollar store. I would honestly just recommend getting one of those plastic fish carriers because theyre cheaper and more sturdy.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect size for my Syrian hamster. Going to use it to put coconut dirt in for his “bath” with a bridge into it. Great quality too. (Looks like glass but is nice thick plastic)

> 3 dayDwarf hamster would struggle a little to get out if you’re only putting ~2” of sand. Acrylic is thick and doesn’t feel cheap.
