I have a large hamster habitat. There’s no assembly other than to pop the lid on. My hamsters never bathed in the sand but use it constantly as their ladies room. Definitely saves the amount of time between cleaning and because they use this easy to clean acrylic litter box like a kitty, their bedding doesn’t smell! Win win!

I fill it about half full of sand and my hamster runs through it all the time. I wondered why this had a half lid. Well as it turns out my hamster loves to run under the lid for some privacy. Really glad I got it.

It was bigger than I expected it to be so quite a lot of space was taken up by it but I love it and that a corner version was made nonetheless. my hamster likes it and I no longer have to worry about her making a mess of the sand. It can be a struggle for a small hamster like mine to climb out so putting something inside yourself for them to step on helps.

I absolutely adore niteangel! I have the all wooden sand bath and this acrylic sand bath. I definitely recommend getting the acrylic sand bath if your hamster likes to pee in it, as the all wooden one gets kinda gross looking. My hamster loves to dig in the sand so the depth of this sand bath is super great for that!

Great product, hate the anmount of packaging. Way too much plastic and styrofoam as well as 2 boxes… for one item.

Dwarf hamster would struggle a little to get out if you’re only putting ~2” of sand. Acrylic is thick and doesn’t feel cheap.

Merry our rather large and picky syrian hamster adores her new sandbox. She now digs in her sandbox every day, multiple times a day. Any product that gets her furry stamp of approval is exceptional. It is beautifully constructed, easy to clean, and deep enough even my big girl fits in it.
