> 3 dayI have two Noctua NF-R8 80mm fans cooling the bottom of a CoolerMaster HAF XB case. Even with anti-vibration mounts installed this fan gets pretty loud at the full 1800RPMs (not surprising from an 80mm fan but unexpected from Noctua). I ended up putting a low noise adapter from Noctua inline with the fan to reduce the max speed down to about 1200-1300RPMs which reduces the noise almost to inaudible when maxed out. To me this fan is an OK balance of noise and airflow for the price but unless you really need the higher air flow you will be happy with the next step down in RPM(1200).

> 3 dayI am very pleased with this fan. It just feels great, sturdy, hefty for its size, with smooth action. Not that ca-chunk feeling of cogging when you turn it. It required me to actually look at it to see it running because the rest of the computer was far louder then this fan.

> 3 dayNot impressed. I was hoping for more airflow. How hard is it to make a silent fan if it doesnt move much air? No overheating issues & a quieter HTPC so far.

> 3 dayAbsolutely nothing special although I have not found anything wrong with it either. I use it as a small exhaust fan on my pc, probably doesnt effect temperatures very much since it is so small but it plugged into my mb with a splitter and is so quiet I cant even hear it next to the case.

> 3 dayThe old fan had a very different way of attaching to the case. I needed to scrounge some screws from my old screw jar to attach the new fan to the case. Once done, it works OK, and is quieter than the old one (whose bearings were badly worn!) by quite a bit. Ask me in 6 years if the fan was well made.

> 3 dayI bought one of these to replace an old case fan and it really moves some air

> 3 dayThis is a very great fan, extremely quiet. If you download speedfan, you can make it absolutely unheard.

> 3 dayWell built, high-quality fan. It was my fault that I ordered the wrong size. I received the correct size and it works perfectly.
